Your calling is Unique to You, and You have the talents to achieve it

A spiritual calling is not a physical or intellectual object that can be stolen from you. If you believe you have one then you must believe it cannot be taken away from you.

Having a spiritual calling is not the same as choosing a career path from a list of options. You have no choice but to follow the call. The more you resist it, the more you suffer.

Spiritual callings are deposited deep inside our soul where our mind cannot even reach. We have an idea of what it is but we never fully know it because it unfolds with time. What you are doing today may not be what you will be doing tomorrow. Spiritual calling demands that we obey the command of our soul in this present moment.

As you were given a calling, so were you given the talent to achieve it. Everything you do every day is your purpose. Every mistake and every suffering is part of the grand design. You are where you should be. Don't compare your life with other people's lives. There is a blessing in your pain. Your assignment is unique so you can't copy another person's life. Focus on doing what is necessary in this present moment. Keep trying to reduce your bad habits. Spiritual wisdom is when we make those painful decisions that we know will be beneficial for us in the long run. The only thing constant in life is change and the only thing guaranteed by change is pain.

I and a friend discussed about this today, and he disagreed wholly, until I showed him the Word. I once used to pray like this whenever we were to go into an 'anointing service.' “We invite the Holy Spirit into this place.” “The Holy Spirit really showed up this morning!” If you have been a Christian for any amount of time, you have no doubt heard these expressions. In fact, you have probably said at least one of them yourself. I know I have! Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. Behind every great idea, there will always be somebody who will be discouraging you by telling you that it won't work. They will tell you it won't be successful. They can even go to the extent of giving examples of people who have tried and failed. Another cool movie to talk about. It's based on the novel by Robin Palmer. Geek Charming stars Sarah Hyland (Dylan Schoenfield), Matt Prokop (Josh Rosen), Sasha Pieterse (Amy Loubalu), among others. Photo Credit: Wikipedia Some things I learnt from the movie: • Challenging Yourself to something different and new, can teach you more and help bring out some uniqueness in You. Josh's movie on a human subject (Dylan) was a big challenge to execute. Most of the other persons involved in the Puget sound film festival, picked a non human subject. As an aspiring film maker, one of a very young age, a documentary on a human subject was something so big and rare, and very challenging. Josh picked up the challenge, one which didn't just help him win the festival, but also helped him discover the real personality of Dylan; how her mum meant so much to her and how the loss of her mum when she was eight years old had affected her and shaped her social life.
