• Every time you clean something, you just make something else dirty.

• 100 years ago many average person owned a horse and only the rich had cars. Today many average person has cars and only the rich own horses.

• If you replace "W" with "T" in "What, Where and When", you get the answer to each of them.

• If 2/2/22 falls on a Tuesday, we'll just call it "2's Day.

A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. Before that, I'll share some points about earthworms: - They are in the lumbricus genus, there are various species of earthworms, but the common earthworm's scientific name is lumbricus terrestris - Their digestive system runs through the length of their skin - Earthworms respire through their skin - They are hermaphrodites (each one carries both male and female sex organs) - They lack either an internal skeleton or exoskeleton , but maintain their structure with fluid-filled coelom chambers that function as a hydrostatic skeleton. Beloved, Christianity isn't a personal race as we are made to believe. It is rather a collective race with personal responsibilities. We are not the Cell of Christ but the Body of Christ. We must realize that whatever affects one part, affects the whole body. We must understand that all these talks such as "Leave everyone to their own beliefs. Let whatever you belief work for you. If I tithe, is it your business?" etcetera, are all revelations of a lack of synergy in the Faith. The Lord Jesus would have us grow up into him in all things. He would have his Church walk in Holy rhythmicity. He would have us understand that we are one united force before whom the World is to tremble. I was nothing special. I get that. I come from humble beginnings. Zero silver spoon in my mouth. In school, I didn’t fit in. Wasn’t given much of a chance. A teacher told me I’d never make a head-on in writing. I didn’t believe him (Trust your instincts versus your critics). I kept on moving ahead. I understood the power of ferocious learning – reading books constantly, studying the best consistently and putting in the effort relentlessly. I made seemingly insignificant small acts that to me revealed a beautiful progress. Quietly proving my naysayers knew nothing. Anyone can put someone down. Heroes lift others up. Thanks to another teacher of mine. In Jss2 – my Yoruba teacher. She saw something in me that nearly no one had. She encouraged me – and helped me believe in myself. I can remember my first steps going before a crowd. I was asked to take the Bible reading in Church on a Sunday. By the time I mounted the pulpit, I had to grip the pulpit for support because I just discovered that I could no longer stand straight again out of fear and nervousness. I was shaking like a dry leaf in harmattan. I felt I was going to have a seizure or just fall and embarrass my generation. My legs were wobbling, it was like I had no bone in them. I couldn't look at the crowd, it was terrible, and I can't remember how I survived the few minutes it took for me to finish the Bible reading. I never wanted to get there again, but next Sunday, I was back there, and the Sunday after that, and every other Sunday, and there we have it.
