You Do it because You are a Responsible Son

Many of us are frustrated simply because we run our Christian race with an "entitlement mentality."

Things happen, and we begin to ask "Why me?" and tell of how we don't deserve such.
Our faith is not in God perse, but in how "much" we have done "for Him" or "sown" into "His work" and how "good" we are.

Such thinking or mentality gets us nowhere with God, and gets us nothing from Him.

Ask the the elder brother of the prodigal son...

"Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid that I might make merry with my friends: But as soon as this thy son was come, which art devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine." – Luke 15: 29-31.

Stop trying, struggling, working, striving, and labouring to make yourself deserving of your inheritance in Christ. It is yours simply because you are a son; not because you merited it. It is all by grace.

Remember, "all that I have is yours..."

So, when you work, it is not in order to gain something. It is because you are a responsible son... who must see to his Father's business.

This said exam is aimed at segregating the class into:- Sciences, Commercials and Arts; as the students transit to Senior Secondary School level. Those that score well above average are moved to sciences. The school management naturally assumes this category to be the most intelligent of the bunch and they surreptitiously bestow upon them the responsibility to become the future Medical doctors and Engineers. Those whose scores were average are moved to commercials because they are terms as those whose brains lack the capacity to comprehend Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I wish I married Him! I have met some people who thought they really made a mistake rejecting a poor guy for an already made person only for things to turn around for both persons later on. I also see others who thank God for not marrying a rich person but an ambitious normal guy and things later turned for good... I also see others who curse themselves for marrying a poor guy believing things will turn and things got even worse. What these group of people don't realize is that marriage is "bring your own, make I bring my own". So I picked this movie as the first I'll write about on this label. I've watched lot of movies, deleted some, but this is one of those I find it difficult to delete. I just have to delete some others to create space for some more movies I want to watch.. This is one of the movies I'll recommend if you are looking for one to give you some motivation. Rags is a musical film, starring a number of characters, two of which are most outstanding. Charlie Prince (Max Schneider) and Kadee Worth (Keke Palmer) both got musical talents, but of different financial backgrounds. The Foundation is Important, Yes; so is the roofing too. Beautiful childhood memories I have, maybe the most beautiful ever told (at least that was the one I witnessed, don't know of any other). God bless our parents who wore us lovely clothes and took us to church, - to children ministry which was so much fun. Virtually everything was composed into song; Bible study, Memory verses, etcetera. There would always be rhyme and rhythm, melody and harmony. We would dance, sing on top of our voices, laugh so hard and feel all excited! I remember kingdom dance, we usually were the front liners shaking our entire being in our beautiful attires, panty hose and the rest. We would eat biscuits, celebrate birthdays, pray with tightly closed eyes, give special numbers... As we grew older, you'll be questioned about your head covering, so much jewellery spaghetti handed dresses, etcetera (lol). We would go for camp meetings...
