Merry Christmas to You

It's the 25th! We celebrate and remember the Birth of Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Before his Birth, we had lesser hope, we were oppressed, and under the captivity of the devil, because we had little appreciation of ourselves.

But His Birth ushered in a new dimension. It opened our eyes to the dominion, authority and control we have over life's challenges, circumstances and over the devil himself. It opened our hearts to the inherent ability and great power that lies deep within us – We can rule over life, sin, challenges... just by our thoughts, beliefs, words which are expressed by our actions.

So, as we celebrate this day, let us not forget whom we are and what we are capable of doing. We are stronger beyond our imagination.

"Behold, I have given you authority to thread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall hurt you." (Luke 10:19)

Let Love and Positivity fill our thoughts, our hearts, and our actions and may the purpose of Christ's Birth be fulfilled in our lives. Amen.

A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. Principle versus Formula

Productivity is better than Activity and Principle is better than formula. Principles will birth productivity whereas Formulas will only produce activity. For example, It is possible to sleep four hours a day and achieve significantly less than someone who sleeps eight hours a day, while claiming anybody that sleeps above four hours is lazy. When it comes to success, there might be principles but not formulas (I mean mindless copying). Some people just copy too much, not seeing that a lot of factors are involved. The most important thing is to learn the principles and tailor it to your unique situation. Make your work time count. I remember students back in school who claimed to be reading all night (and they were) but had little or nothing to show in their result and there were others who never went through that stress and made straight A's. It is good to look out for working formulas but it's more important to know what works for you and so you can manipulate the formula...

The 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup is just less than 48 hours to be done with. It's been an interesting week with the two interesting semi final games played on Wednesday, June 28, and Thursday, June 29. After Portugal qualified as Group winners of Group A, they booked a semi final encounter with Chile, runners up of Group B, on Wednesday. It was the most interesting game of the cup so far, with the winner decided by penalties. Claudio Bravo, the Manchester City and Chilean goalkeeper and captain turned hero as he saved all three penalties, taken by Ricardo Quaresma, João Moutinho and Nani, while Chile scored all three of theirs. Let's recall that Juventus got here by eliminating Porto, Bacelona and AS Monaco; and Madrid got here after eliminating Napoli, Bayern Munich and Atlético Madrid after the group stages. False Evidence Appearing Real

I can remember my first steps going before a crowd. I was asked to take the Bible reading in Church on a Sunday. By the time I mounted the pulpit, I had to grip the pulpit for support because I just discovered that I could no longer stand straight again out of fear and nervousness. I was shaking like a dry leaf in harmattan. I felt I was going to have a seizure or just fall and embarrass my generation. My legs were wobbling, it was like I had no bone in them. I couldn't look at the crowd, it was terrible, and I can't remember how I survived the few minutes it took for me to finish the Bible reading. I never wanted to get there again, but next Sunday, I was back there, and the Sunday after that, and every other Sunday, and there we have it.
