Which book did the first leader read? You think reading will change you?
I need to tell you about Pastors who commit rape, Lawyers who take bribes, Graduates that can't write a formal letter, Armies that are afraid of war. I still need to tell you that knowledge does not change people. Decisions does!
You can read all of the books on wealth creation and still remain broke if you don't take action.
There is a difference between those you read as successful people and you that is seeking to be successful after reading their books. The difference is that, they didn't wait to read a book on Success before they started putting in practice what they know. If however they read a book on Success, the person that wrote that book didn't read any book on Success to be able to write the book.
My point is...
Why wait for extra knowledge when you've not put into practice what you already know?
What's the point loading a truck further, when it can't move with the load it has?
My advice to you today is, act on what you know. Go for knowledge if you should, but ultimately, act more than you seek for knowledge.
There is this wave of information about reading... I'm not against it. But there are professors who are so poor.
Because an idea is in a book doesn't make it valid. Today, any human being can write and publish books.
Everybody wants to be an author. A kid of 4 years is already an inspirational author. Child that has not experienced failure!
Everyone who can design an ebook cover has an ebook, and most times all they share are what they read somewhere and never applied them.
Two pages on Google can get you a book. All these flaws are the reason poverty and failures still increase because we tend to improve in the wrong direction.
Why decide to read more, when you can act more?
I know what the problem is... You probably want to share knowledge and not practice knowledge.
But that doesn't help. You can only teach what you know. To impart, it must be from who you are and what you practice.
When all you do is read to share, those who read or hear you will only be beautiful, polished, painted but weak version of you. This circle, is what has kept the planet small.
Please,
Read.
But read to take actions.
Start, by taking actions from what you already know.
That's the best way to live.
That's strength. That's greatness!
