Why You May Not Succeed As An Entrepreneur

The most popular answer these days is "become an entrepreneur", "start your own business".

I have seen lots of articles with the quote:
"If you don't follow your dreams, you'll end up working for someone who did", but there is something about this statement I don't agree with...
I would come back to it in a minute...

In order to maximise your earning power and have the ability to invest in my business as an entrepreneur, you need to pursue a career or side hustle you are passionate about and create multiple streams of income.

Becoming rich does not necessarily mean you have to become an entrepreneur.

The reality is, not everyone is cut out to be their own boss and you need to learn this early on... that's why I don't agree with the statement that without following your dreams, you may automatically end up working for someone who did...

What if your dream is heading a board as maybe an executive with the world health organization or an engineer with a multi million international company... Does it then mean you are helping key players in these industries to live their own dreams?

Being a boss is not about working for yourself and avoiding the discipline of a nine-to-five job. Plus, if we all become our own bosses who is going to work for whom? Who will be the employees?

Mark Zuckerberg, for instance is the founder of Facebook, but Sheryl Sandberg as Facebook's Chief Operating Officer and founder of 'Lean In' is not just an ordinary employee.

Before she joined Facebook as it's COO, Sandberg was vice president of global online sales and operations at Google, and was involved in launching Google's philanthropic arm Google.org. Before Google, Sandberg served as chief of staff for United States Secretary of the Treasury Lawrence Summers.

These are all multi million dollars company she didn't own herself... But just an employee!!

Just because she isn't the founder of Facebook doesn't make her less important, it doesn't mean she is not living her dreams. Mark Zuckerberg is fulfilled as the founder of Facebook, Sheryl Sandberg is living her own personal legend because she focuses on being a value-driven individual who earn more and has a net worth of over 1.6 billion dollars more than most entrepreneurs

The focus should be on encouraging people to be entrepreneurial in their thinking whether they work in a corporation or run their own business.

People who are entrepreneurial in their thinking are value driven. They adopt critical thinking and embrace innovation and continuous improvement.

They are the ones you see solving problems every day and are getting paid to do so regardless of whether they are the founders of the company or not.

The most Painful thing would be:

1. Getting Stucked in a 9-5 job you hate, and;

2. Getting stuck in an entrepreneurial role you don't have the skill to drive to profitability.

Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

Another cool movie to talk about. It's based on the novel by Robin Palmer. Geek Charming stars Sarah Hyland (Dylan Schoenfield), Matt Prokop (Josh Rosen), Sasha Pieterse (Amy Loubalu), among others. Josh's movie on a human subject (Dylan) was a big challenge to execute. Most of the other persons involved in the Puget sound film festival, picked a non human subject. As an aspiring film maker, one of a very young age, a documentary on a human subject was something so big and rare, and very challenging. Josh picked up the challenge, one which didn't just help him win the festival, but also helped him discover the real personality of Dylan; how her mum meant so much to her and how the loss of her mum when she was eight years old had affected her and shaped her social life. When life rejects you as a waste of lemon, shake off the tag and GROW up into a lemonade! I grew up to my early teenage in Ilorin, Kwara state, Nigeria and countless times, I saw my mum poured cooking waste water containing tomato and vegetable seeds into a corner of our backyard through the kitchen window.
