Passing by a church over the weekend, my thoughts revolved about a noticeable trend that have stayed in Nigeria, I believe for about a decade or so. You must have observed same. Churches in recent years now use Religious broadcasting (which is broadcasting by religious organizations, usually with a religious message) to conduct LIVE services. So, a head quarter church in any part of the country can easily broadcast to any of their satellite churches, and you see people in this satellite churches agreeing and seeing visible results. Several years ago, people will never try that. They will wonder why you should be looking at somebody in a box, and be dancing, singing and even believe same for miracles. What foolishness? Thumbs up to the Writer! ----- The major secret of billionaires is their ability to find solutions to the challenges of humanity. All of them created solutions that brought the billions. Presently, Bill Gates is spending millions of dollars in search of renewable energy. By the time he finds one and become a major player in the electricity industry, we will say he is lucky. But we forget that he didn't pray for financial breakthrough, he only found a solution to a global problem. Wealthy people don't necessarily look for money, they create solutions, and money will follow them! You do not need to invite the Holy Spirit

I and a friend discussed about this today, and he disagreed wholly, until I showed him the Word. I once used to pray like this whenever we were to go into an 'anointing service.' “We invite the Holy Spirit into this place.” “The Holy Spirit really showed up this morning!” If you have been a Christian for any amount of time, you have no doubt heard these expressions. In fact, you have probably said at least one of them yourself. I know I have! Many believers today often open up church services or worship meetings with prayers like “come, Holy Spirit!” Yet I suspect these prayers may not need to be prayed. Indeed, they may actually cause more harm than good. Allow me to explain. As a Christian, I believe that any person who puts their faith (active trust) in Jesus is given the Holy Spirit. Today, I'll share few of what I learnt from this inspiring book by Norman Vincent Peale. It's an amazing and inspiring book, which I feel a lot of persons have read. But if you haven't, it's worth checking out. It's amazing to know that Peale's book is still inspiring lives long after written, and after he's gone (Peale died in 1993 at the age of 95 years). • Nothing is inherently powerful. But WE are powerful, and we can give strength and power to whatever we choose to give such to. One's mind gives strength and power to circumstances, things, situations. And the more one's mind focus on something, it gives greater strength and power to such thing. And when strength and power is given to something, that thing has some control and authority even over us, the giver of the power, and would exercise that authority until one recognizes it and decides to take away such authority. A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. Investors and banks don't fund ideas. They invest in going concerns and buy equity in businesses that have been prototyped, and have a proven business model & market. Friends, family members, philanthropists, grant making organisations and competitions fund ideas. If you're an early stage business, stop looking for investors or loans. Register for grants from organisations like Tony Elumelu Foundation, go for competitions like Google Launchpad or look for a benevolent uncle. These sources of funds are "no pressure".
