This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. Why do People think that Introverts are Rude or Arrogant?

Myth #1 – Introverts don’t like to talk. This is not true. Introverts just don’t talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won’t shut up for days. Myth #2 – Introverts are shy. Shyness has nothing to do with being an Introvert. Introverts are not necessarily afraid of people. What they need is a reason to interact. They don’t interact for the sake of interacting. If you want to talk to an Introvert, just start talking. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. A few days ago (on the day this was written), I sent an email to my subscribers. The call to action in that email was, "get your discount now" with a link to a sales page. Later, I got a reply from one of the subscribers saying, "where should I get the discount?" Then I replied, "click this link...." Yesterday (on the day Promise wrote this), a client I worked with sent me a message asking me what a logo was. He told me that someone requested for his logo and he doesn't know what it means. Then I told him what a logo was and the price to get one. His response was that, if he knew that he needed a logo for his website, he would have paid when he was paying for the web design. I took it that it was my fault. I assumed that everyone knew what I knew. This is the more reason why you should monetize your knowledge. Many people don't know what you know. Passing by a church over the weekend, my thoughts revolved about a noticeable trend that have stayed in Nigeria, I believe for about a decade or so. You must have observed same. Churches in recent years now use Religious broadcasting (which is broadcasting by religious organizations, usually with a religious message) to conduct LIVE services. So, a head quarter church in any part of the country can easily broadcast to any of their satellite churches, and you see people in this satellite churches agreeing and seeing visible results. Several years ago, people will never try that. They will wonder why you should be looking at somebody in a box, and be dancing, singing and even believe same for miracles. What foolishness?
