If you are the average of the 5 people you spend your time with the most, who will you be?

You can't roll with chicken and expect to fly like a eagle.
You can't be a chicken and expect to roam with eagles.

In all you do, seek constant improvement and never blackmail yourself emotionally to stay with people who don't have your kind of vision.

We only have one life to live and the only way to influence what people will say after we are gone is to live a life in sync with expectations.

Life is too short to be limited.

Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. About six months later, I went to check my 300 level second semester result and I now had a CGPA of 4.00. That was the happiest day of my University education. I was rolling on the floor of the room. This part focuses on diet and eye health. Good eye health requires the consumption of nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, lutein, zeaxanthin, zinc, beta-carotene, vitamins A, C and E, etcetera. Deficiency of these nutrients contributes to poor eye health Food sources that are positive for eye health include; - Green leafy vegetables like spinach, kale and others - Fruits like citruses and berries (oranges, etcetera). Also almonds, carrots, tomatoes, mangoes, pawpaw - Fatty fish such as tuna, salmon, mackerel. - Non meat protein sources like eggs, nuts, beans, etcetera - Diary products like milk and yoghurt Unhealthy foods such as processed foods, foods containing saturated fats, or foods that are high in sugar, should be limited and less consumed. A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. I think I need to have an office in my kitchen because it seems to me like almost all my inspirations stem from there. ----- One day, Dave entered the kitchen and took an uncooked potato in his hands, crying to be allowed to eat it. I said to him, "No drop that. That's not your food." He refused. He turned his back on me and was bent on eating the uncooked potato. Unknown to him, I had already served his food and was only waiting for him to drop what he occupied his hands with so that I can give the food to him. But David refused to drop the uncooked potato. "The past is a nice place to visit but never a great place to stay". We all are where we are today because of our past decisions and actions. Our present is a factual reflection of how great our past was. We all have past, filled with different experience. Our past is always on the increase while our future on decrease. We all dream of a greater and better future but we are still loyal to our past. We can't create the future of our dream with the same attitude, perspective, relationships and decisions that created our today. What brought us here, wouldn't take us there. We need to let go the gory of the past. Take the lessons from it and move on. Ask yourself, Can I create the future I want with the same set of people I created today with? The Principles are Universal, but Our Pathways and Circumstances could differ

No matter how spiritual you are, I may not agree with you on all issues. You may have personal beliefs that resulted from your experiences over time, that doesn't make it God's Word or changes God's word. We live by faith and not by experience. There may be universal principles but different pathways and circumstances influenced by our levels of appreciation of God's word. Don't impose your experiences on people in the name of wisdom. True wisdom is God's word. Teach the word and allow people move at their pace taking baby steps until they master their own art of absolute dependence on God. My confessions are powerful, they may not be reasonable but I am what I believe. I have chosen not to bend them to suit experiences, I have chosen to make them all positive. If you discover you are one of the few that operate in extraordinary wisdom, don't be too hasty to lend your voice to every trend and discussion because your suggestions and contributions will almost always stick and be accepted as a truth even when it is not because people have over times watched your consistency in display of wisdom. Some people are here to steer others aright. If you are one of those God has given this responsibility, you have to be very careful so you don't lead many to destruction.
