Be a Strong Lady!

It is important if you want to be a strong woman who is respected by the man in her life, that you keep yourself busy. By busy, I mean in school or working on your career. I’m not referring to hanging out on the corner with your friends all day. I’m not referring to going to a club every other night.

Nothing turns a man on, more than a woman with a life of her own - a woman who has goals and dreams; a woman with a nice career.

Don’t you like a man with these attributes? Men like it even more!!

A man once lived with his family. They did not have much but they didn't go begging either. He had three children - David, Kingsley and Rose. David, the eldest is a graduate, not married and had a job, while Kingsley and Rose were still in college at the time. Everyone in the household looked up to David for financial support since their parents are now retired. He (David) has a well paying job, he loves luxury and got himself whatever he desired. He lived a flamboyant and care free life. He loved women, for that fact he got himself an apartment so he could do as much as it pleases him with no restrictions whenever and however. Don’t build your castle on anyone’s talk; or you build a castle in the air…. Talk is cheap and anyone can afford it... even a pauper. I read through a timeline here a while ago and I saw series of “I've missed you, where have you been?” posts. I smiled as I read through. In my mind, I asked, “Have you tried getting in touch with this person you claim to miss, beyond posting ‘I miss you’ on their Facebook timeline?’ It reminded me of lots of comments I have come across where people would ask a certain writer to go write their book, start a blog and begin a blog series, release their anthology etcetera, because they “…just write so well”. They tell a singer, “When will you release your album? I can’t wait!” Someone graduates and they begin to ask them with ‘concern’, "What are you still doing? Your mates are married! Missing Pens and Society

In my office, pens go missing all the time. I'm not sure if people simply appropriate them for use, or if it's just a bad habit. So, I stopped bringing nice pens to the office and started buying cheap biros instead. Sometimes, people get irritated and shout about their pens going missing. This has a dual effect. Firstly, it's preventive. When everyone is aware that people are mad about their pens going missing, they are less likely to steal them. Or at the very least, they are more careful about whom they steal from. Secondly, shouting is therapeutic as it helps the person who has been wronged to air their grievances and to seek justice. However, this does not stop stealing. One could put laws and surveillance measures in place and even lay out dire consequences for stealing. But this seems like a joke to some people. "Is it not just pens?!" They forget that a pen is still another person's property and a pen thief today, will become a sandwich thief tomorrow...

Whether You are a female or male, You don't go into a relationship because of what You can get but because of what You can give. True love is not about what You can get from the other person, but about what You can add and make out of the life of the other person. True love must not be parasitic. True love must never be one-sided. A parasitic relationship is an unhealthy relationship. If he takes You out, You also take him out once in a while.
