Today, I share some quotes from a friend. Let's be inspired by these quotes.

• I learnt how to play the keyboard the wrong way. I loved short cuts so I boycott all the fingering trainings and exercises because I wanted to play fast. Of course, I did play fast but I have not progressed much because I didn't allow process to take its course. Any process you deliberately ignore will laugh at you in your face. Process, though may be slow, gives lasting advantage.

• It is more useful to speak the truth before a legal conviction than after. Of what impact is the truth when it comes ill-timed.

• When the voice of the hopeless is neglected long enough, the voice of the hopeless may become the voice of the people.

• We may have mastered the taming of our eyes and mouths from evil, but there is one powerful doorway to our spirit we neglect - our ears. Block listening to negativity with all you have. Faith comes by hearing, so does fear and defeat.

Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. Indecision to define your kind of man, probably due to self deceit and focus on what you will get (misplaced focus); 2. Faulty mindset: It's so baffling how people castigate their future and still expect the best out of it. If you've been brain washed by that your friend with failed relationship(s) that never told you her own bad side of the story, why not stay off the way? 3. I and a friend discussed about this today, and he disagreed wholly, until I showed him the Word. I once used to pray like this whenever we were to go into an 'anointing service.' “We invite the Holy Spirit into this place.” “The Holy Spirit really showed up this morning!” If you have been a Christian for any amount of time, you have no doubt heard these expressions. In fact, you have probably said at least one of them yourself. I know I have! Many believers today often open up church services or worship meetings with prayers like “come, Holy Spirit!” Yet I suspect these prayers may not need to be prayed. Sometimes, You just have to be strong enough to say goodbye to toxic relationships. This is the best way to save yourself and to best utilise the limited time you have to live on earth. Unfortunately, toxicity can come from family and very close friends. The question you need to ask yourself is if you want to live your own life on your own terms. Do you really believe in yourself? First and foremost, how do you love others when you do not love yourself? You will always spill your hate or love for yourself into the way you treat others ultimately. Kid yourself not! Secondly, how do you expect others to love you when you barely love yourself? You hate your height, you want her to love you for it? Or is it after you hate your height, you then want to love a person with same height? You must be confused! You hate your size, and you want him to love you like that? You hate your looks, YOU HATE YOU, BUT YOU WANT ME TO LOVE YOU? How am I going to pull that off?
