• I learnt how to play the keyboard the wrong way. I loved short cuts so I boycott all the fingering trainings and exercises because I wanted to play fast. Of course, I did play fast but I have not progressed much because I didn't allow process to take its course. Any process you deliberately ignore will laugh at you in your face. Process, though may be slow, gives lasting advantage.

• It is more useful to speak the truth before a legal conviction than after. Of what impact is the truth when it comes ill-timed.

• When the voice of the hopeless is neglected long enough, the voice of the hopeless may become the voice of the people.

• We may have mastered the taming of our eyes and mouths from evil, but there is one powerful doorway to our spirit we neglect - our ears. Block listening to negativity with all you have. Faith comes by hearing, so does fear and defeat.

You may be consuming high amounts of sugar and it's unhealthy for you

A lot of us must have heard that much sugar is not healthy, but a good number of persons still consume a large amount of it. Sugar is a carbohydrate and we have simple sugars (glucose, fructose, galactose) and more complex forms of it (sucrose, lactose, maltose). The sugar we consume is mostly in the form of sucrose, a disaccharide made up of glucose and fructose. When we consume sugar, it is metabolized to give us energy, but when high amounts of it is consumed, the body converts to body fats and store them. Sugar (sucrose) contains about 50% fructose, and fructose, which is actually the sweet part of sugar, responsible for the sweetness we taste when we take sugar is not good for us. Fructose is metabolized only by the liver which means there's a lot of work for one's liver to do. It is toxic to the liver especially in those who consume large amount of sugar (the human body is not meant to consume so much fructose). Also, sugar is ADDICTIVE due to fructose. It has been an interesting week in the world of football. A couple of transfers were done, and we'll see those involving popular stars and some top clubs. Before we get to that, I want to say a big Congrats to Germany for their victory as the Confederations Cup Champions. The most popular answer these days is "become an entrepreneur", "start your own business". I have seen lots of articles with the quote: "If you don't follow your dreams, you'll end up working for someone who did", but there is something about this statement I don't agree with... I would come back to it in a minute... In order to maximise your earning power and have the ability to invest in my business as an entrepreneur, you need to pursue a career or side hustle you are passionate about and create multiple streams of income. Becoming rich does not necessarily mean you have to become an entrepreneur. Our present society is a mixture of different persons of different family values. That's one of the major reasons why people have different understanding of an issue or situation. One from a family with high personal and moral values may not agree with the other who has his or her own values, and who feels they are justified and right. You see situations where people can't relate because of their parallel opinions and beliefs which are antagonist to each other. You see situations where people "mind their business" because they feel that the actions and activities of other persons, has no significant effect on them. Hi Reader! Hope you're doing good? I was checking up on happiness and how it relates to the body and brain, chemically. I found some interesting stuffs that I'll love to share. There are four chemical substances that are related to happiness in the body: Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin and Endorphins (DOSE). There could be more than four but these four are major. My interest today is on Dopamine. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter which influences "reward-motivated behavior " in relation to happiness. By reward-motivated behavior, it is responsible for the excitement one feels when there's a task to be done with a reward attached. This reward can be a goal to be attained or landmark to be set.
