Sports this Week: Neymar Jr becomes world's most expensive football player and second highest paid player in the world

Its been an interesting week in the world of football. For the past few days, and many days to come, the world will be talking about Neymar Jr.

25 years old Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior became the world most expensive football player after Paris Saint-Germain made a payment of €222 million (about £200 million) to Barcelona, which is the value of the release clause in Neymar's contract. The deal was completed on Thursday, August 3, and would keep him at PSG till 2022. Many thought it was all rumours till it became official. The deal makes Neymar Jr the second highest paid player in the world (£515,000-per-week) after Carlos Tevez (Shanghai Shenua, £615,000-per-week). Neymar takes the number 10 Jersey, which was handed over to him by Javier Pastore. Neymar would definitely do great in PSG. Let's hope he wins the champions league with them and the balon d'or soon.

Fernando completed a transfer from Manchester City  to Galatasaray

Gaston Ramirez completed a transfer from Middlesbrough to Sampdoria

On Thursday, August 3:

Nigeria's most expensive player, Kelechi Iheanacho completed a transfer from Manchester City to Leicester in a deal worth about £25m

On Tuesday, August 1:

Jesus Navas completed a free transfer from Manchester City to Sevilla

On Monday, July 31:

Nemanja Matic completed a transfer from Chelsea to Manchester United, in a deal worth about £40m

I can't wait for the league to resume. It's just a week to go and the English Premier League kicks off. Before then, a pre-kick off game takes place tomorrow, August 6. It's Arsenal vs Chelsea in the FA community shield final. The game kicks off at 2 pm Nigerian time.

I once used to pray like this whenever we were to go into an 'anointing service.' “We invite the Holy Spirit into this place.” “The Holy Spirit really showed up this morning!” If you have been a Christian for any amount of time, you have no doubt heard these expressions. First and foremost, how do you love others when you do not love yourself? You will always spill your hate or love for yourself into the way you treat others ultimately. Kid yourself not! Secondly, how do you expect others to love you when you barely love yourself? You hate your height, you want her to love you for it? Or is it after you hate your height, you then want to love a person with same height? You must be confused! You hate your size, and you want him to love you like that?
