Marry a Person You can Carry, and that can Carry You as well (Financially, Spiritually, Mentally, Socially, etcetera), so that when you're down, all won't be lost. If You do all the Carrying alone, all the time, it's as good as a prescription for an early grave.

Marriage is give and give (on both sides). Everyone should have or be willing to acquire the capacity to give!
Both parties should be willing and able to inspire each other and bring out the best in each other!

If you marry the wrong size and match, you'll feel the pains constantly, and will be greatly tempted to pull off the shoe or change the shoe entirely.

A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. Passing by a church over the weekend, my thoughts revolved about a noticeable trend that have stayed in Nigeria, I believe for about a decade or so. You must have observed same. Churches in recent years now use Religious broadcasting (which is broadcasting by religious organizations, usually with a religious message) to conduct LIVE services. So, a head quarter church in any part of the country can easily broadcast to any of their satellite churches, and you see people in this satellite churches agreeing and seeing visible results. Several years ago, people will never try that. They will wonder why you should be looking at somebody in a box, and be dancing, singing and even believe same for miracles. What foolishness? Investors and banks don't fund ideas. They invest in going concerns and buy equity in businesses that have been prototyped, and have a proven business model & market. Friends, family members, philanthropists, grant making organisations and competitions fund ideas. If you're an early stage business, stop looking for investors or loans. Register for grants from organisations like Tony Elumelu Foundation, go for competitions like Google Launchpad or look for a benevolent uncle. These sources of funds are "no pressure".
