Diary of a Single Lady
A woman has the ability to multitask. Sometimes you have to wake up early to study the Word, pray and prepare the day's meals. Other times, you come home by 10 pm, relax for a while, and study for hours before you give your bed a hug. Sometimes, you have to stay awake till 12 midnight to pray for open doors. Sometimes, in pursuit of your passion, you do two jobs. Sometimes, you keep the make-up aside because you have to maintain punctuality. Sometimes, you work so hard to give your parents a wonderful retirement.
I know you've failed, sometimes, to keep up with the demands; you burnt that food because you had to fetch water; get your clothes ironed while cooking; you couldn't wake up as early as 5 am to prepare for work; you couldn't beat your face because you had to prepare the day's meal since you can't keep up with eating out anymore.
I know you've failed to reach your daily goals, I know you've read one motivational book for 3 months, I know you felt like quitting the job because you're stressed out, I know you want to keep eating out because you can't keep up with the whole bank work stress, I know you have to wake up by 4 am to beat the traffic, I know you have to stay awake after work to prepare for that exam, I know, I know the know never ends.
Don't give up. Please, don't give up. You are building a great future. Don't lazy about waiting for the wealthy man to come less your burden, don't wait till you are married before you learn how to wake up early to prepare the day's meal. Don't wait till you are comfortable to read that book, don't quit because you feel you are stressed out, don't remain in that qualification because you feel that you're earning enough to satisfy your needs.
Keep an open mind, embrace your uniqueness. Say to your self, "I'm studying being a boss, wife and mother management in single hood university". Your hubby won't do the cooking for you, he won't wash the plates for you, he won't read the books for you, he won't be punctual for you, he won't wake up to pray for you, he won't do the laundry for you. He can only help when he wants to but don't call him a selfish man when he refuses (Remember, He has his own territory).
God placed in You the tenacity to manage your home. He allows you stay single to develop those abilities. Embrace your unique nature.
Take a lesson from the eagle, soar higher, be powerful but!!! Be HUMBLE (James 4 vs 6). It takes humility to achieve greater heights.
Enjoy your place as a single lady. Falling and rising is part of the training. Remember a beautiful home awaits you... (Psalm 103 vs 5).
