You get involved with a man and get carried away. You miss a day of school here and there, give up on your goals and career. And before you know it, you've paused Your Own Life.

You want to spend all of your time with this great person. STOP IT! You’re losing yourself and you’ll eventually turn this guy off by smothering him and losing yourself in him.

Don’t let him be a distraction from your
personal goals. Be careful and don’t make that mistake. It happens to women all the time, so be prepared to control yourself and stay focused when this happens!

Stay focused on your own life. Don’t use a man as a way to fill in your life for you. This makes you the clingy, overbearing girl and it pushes men away.
If you have no goals or ambition and find it hard to keep yourself busy, don't assume you would get it all rosy with a man who maybe is wealthy!

If you accept being that dependent woman, a strong independent woman would always be a better option for men!

Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. I stumbled upon the Instagram account of a Nigerian beer brand and their caption “celebrating friends” caught me. It is a tag that connects emotionally and can be easily bought into. The brand really makes a big deal of love and friendship with their #cityoflove campaign, hosting several events across Nigeria, inviting top music artistes. I went through their profile, they have about two thousands followers, average engagement level at 100. What! Are they doing well? They represent their brand with lovely pictures of their event, guests, videos of same and some stars behind the scene. The A list artistes will naturally attract attention to the brand and having clips of these serves well. The idea that an anointing from God can be IMPARTED from one person to another is NOT in the Bible. Someone asks, "What does it mean to not serve God and mammon? I'm confused. Does it mean I should not want to have money? And I should not think about it or how to get it?
