Max Schneider's Someday is one of the songs you'll be familiar with if you've watched the movie "Rags", a 2012 movie where he acted as Charlie. I've shared my lessons from this movie on the Plus Movies label of the blog.

The 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup is just less than 48 hours to be done with. It's been an interesting week with the two interesting semi final games played on Wednesday, June 28, and Thursday, June 29. After Portugal qualified as Group winners of Group A, they booked a semi final encounter with Chile, runners up of Group B, on Wednesday. It was the most interesting game of the cup so far, with the winner decided by penalties. You may be consuming high amounts of sugar and it's unhealthy for you

A lot of us must have heard that much sugar is not healthy, but a good number of persons still consume a large amount of it. Sugar is a carbohydrate and we have simple sugars (glucose, fructose, galactose) and more complex forms of it (sucrose, lactose, maltose). The sugar we consume is mostly in the form of sucrose, a disaccharide made up of glucose and fructose. When we consume sugar, it is metabolized to give us energy, but when high amounts of it is consumed, the body converts to body fats and store them. Sugar (sucrose) contains about 50% fructose, and fructose, which is actually the sweet part of sugar, responsible for the sweetness we taste when we take sugar is not good for us. Fructose is metabolized only by the liver which means there's a lot of work for one's liver to do. It is toxic to the liver especially in those who consume large amount of sugar (the human body is not meant to consume so much fructose). Also, sugar is ADDICTIVE due to fructose. The Foundation is Important, Yes; so is the roofing too. Beautiful childhood memories I have, maybe the most beautiful ever told (at least that was the one I witnessed, don't know of any other). God bless our parents who wore us lovely clothes and took us to church, - to children ministry which was so much fun. Virtually everything was composed into song; Bible study, Memory verses, etcetera. There would always be rhyme and rhythm, melody and harmony. We would dance, sing on top of our voices, laugh so hard and feel all excited! I remember kingdom dance, we usually were the front liners shaking our entire being in our beautiful attires, panty hose and the rest. We would eat biscuits, celebrate birthdays, pray with tightly closed eyes, give special numbers... As we grew older, you'll be questioned about your head covering, so much jewellery spaghetti handed dresses, etcetera (lol). We would go for camp meetings... Saw this on facebook and felt it's worth sharing here.. In JSS3; Our educational curriculum mandates that an examination be taken. This said exam is aimed at segregating the class into:- Sciences, Commercials and Arts; as the students transit to Senior Secondary School level. Those that score well above average are moved to sciences. The school management naturally assumes this category to be the most intelligent of the bunch and they surreptitiously bestow upon them the responsibility to become the future Medical doctors and Engineers. Those whose scores were average are moved to commercials because they are terms as those whose brains lack the capacity to comprehend Physics, Chemistry and Biology. They are better of going into the world of business. And those whose scores are below average are moved to Arts. These ones are characterised as dullards and olodo rabbatas. I thought of the second movie to write about and I picked this one. It is one amazing movie I love to watch repeatedly. After the first time I watched it on my mobile, it was deleted. I had to search for it and get it back, and since then, its been there. 3 Idiots is an Indian movie starring Aamir Khan (Ranchoddas Shamaldas Chanchad / Chhote / Phunsukh Wangdu), R. As long as day and night occurs, the singular factor that separates successful people from the average person is ACTION. A lot of motivational talks have been written about taking action. But only few really show people how to take action. So, I want to show you how I discipline myself to take action even when I don't feel like. The strategies work like calabar juju. Okay, enough of the joke. 1. Set a goal. You can't achieve anything if you don't set a goal to achieve something. So the fist strategy to taking action is setting a goal. 2. Tell everyone about your intentions. It depends on the goal anyway, you can tell just a person or tell many people. When you tell people about your intention to do something, you feel obligated to do it. It becomes like a promise that needs to be fulfilled. Personally, what I do is to announce it on Facebook. The liver is an essential organ, the largest internal organ in the human body. It has a wide range of functions, including detoxification of various metabolites, protein synthesis, and the production of biochemicals necessary for digestion. It also plays a role in metabolism, regulation of glycogen storage, decomposition of red blood cells and hormone production. It is said that the liver has over 500 functions. Here are important points to note about having a healthy liver: Foods with lot of fiber, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, cereals, are healthy to the liver. In addition, taking more of natural foods, plant based proteins, and less of fats and fatty food helps promote a healthy liver. Alcohol can damage the liver, it's damage could accumulate over time.
