Everyone is born Original; most die as Copies. The call in your life is not to be a copy. In this day of peer pressure, trends, and fads, we need to realize that each person has been custom-made by God the Creator. Each of us has a unique call. We should be ourselves. You and I can always find someone richer than we are, poorer than we are, or more or less able than we are. But how other people are, what they have, and what happens in their lives have no effect upon our call.

God made you a certain way. You are unique, one of a kind. To copy others is to cheat yourself out of the fullness of what God has called you to be and to do. Imitation is Limitation. Stand out; don't blend in. If a thousand people say something foolish, it is still foolish. Truth is never dependent upon concensus of belief. Never take direction for your personal life from a crowd. Never choose to quit just because somebody disagrees with you. There should be something different about you, if you do not stand out in a group, reevaluate.

A lot of us must have heard that much sugar is not healthy, but a good number of persons still consume a large amount of it. Sugar is a carbohydrate and we have simple sugars (glucose, fructose, galactose) and more complex forms of it (sucrose, lactose, maltose). The sugar we consume is mostly in the form of sucrose, a disaccharide made up of glucose and fructose. When we consume sugar, it is metabolized to give us energy, but when high amounts of it is consumed, the body converts to body fats and store them. Sugar (sucrose) contains about 50% fructose, and fructose, which is actually the sweet part of sugar, responsible for the sweetness we taste when we take sugar is not good for us. Fructose is metabolized only by the liver which means there's a lot of work for one's liver to do. It has been an interesting week in the world of football. A couple of transfers were done, and we'll see those involving popular stars and some top clubs. Before we get to that, I want to say a big Congrats to Germany for their victory as the Confederations Cup Champions. He picked up his pen and started writing: • Last year, I had a surgery and my gallbladder was removed. I had to stay stuck to the bed due to this surgery for a long time. • The same year I reached the age of 60 years and had to give up my favourite job in the Publishing company in which I had spent 30 years of my life. • The same year I experienced the sorrow of the death of my father. • And in the same year my son failed in his medical exams because he had a car accident. The most popular answer these days is "become an entrepreneur", "start your own business". I have seen lots of articles with the quote: "If you don't follow your dreams, you'll end up working for someone who did", but there is something about this statement I don't agree with... I would come back to it in a minute... In order to maximise your earning power and have the ability to invest in my business as an entrepreneur, you need to pursue a career or side hustle you are passionate about and create multiple streams of income. Becoming rich does not necessarily mean you have to become an entrepreneur. Our present society is a mixture of different persons of different family values. That's one of the major reasons why people have different understanding of an issue or situation. One from a family with high personal and moral values may not agree with the other who has his or her own values, and who feels they are justified and right. You see situations where people can't relate because of their parallel opinions and beliefs which are antagonist to each other. You see situations where people "mind their business" because they feel that the actions and activities of other persons, has no significant effect on them. Hi Reader! Hope you're doing good? I was checking up on happiness and how it relates to the body and brain, chemically. I found some interesting stuffs that I'll love to share. There are four chemical substances that are related to happiness in the body: Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin and Endorphins (DOSE). There could be more than four but these four are major. My interest today is on Dopamine. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter which influences "reward-motivated behavior " in relation to happiness. By reward-motivated behavior, it is responsible for the excitement one feels when there's a task to be done with a reward attached. This reward can be a goal to be attained or landmark to be set.
