Facebook Friends

1. Those who have 5,000 friends now, have people who wish they had reached out to them earlier for friendship on Facebook.

Identify potentials and connect with them on time, don't always go for finished products. They may be quite expensive then or out of reach.

2. Some of the people sending friend requests to individuals with 5,000 now, are those who would have never accepted requests from these individuals 2–5 years back.

Don't let people's acceptance harm your progress. As you become more valuable, you attract more loyalty.

3. Some of the people accepting your friend request today are people who just got to know about you from others, and in a rush to connect to you checked your profile. Only to see that your request have been pending, and they are wondering "why haven't I accepted this request all the while?"

Some people will not see your good until they see others celebrating it.

I and a friend discussed about this today, and he disagreed wholly, until I showed him the Word. I once used to pray like this whenever we were to go into an 'anointing service.' “We invite the Holy Spirit into this place.” “The Holy Spirit really showed up this morning!” If you have been a Christian for any amount of time, you have no doubt heard these expressions. In fact, you have probably said at least one of them yourself. I know I have! Many believers today often open up church services or worship meetings with prayers like “come, Holy Spirit!” Yet I suspect these prayers may not need to be prayed. Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. About six months later, I went to check my 300 level second semester result and I now had a CGPA of 4.00. That was the happiest day of my University education. I was rolling on the floor of the room. A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. Another cool movie to talk about. It's based on the novel by Robin Palmer. Geek Charming stars Sarah Hyland (Dylan Schoenfield), Matt Prokop (Josh Rosen), Sasha Pieterse (Amy Loubalu), among others. Photo Credit: Wikipedia Some things I learnt from the movie: • Challenging Yourself to something different and new, can teach you more and help bring out some uniqueness in You. Josh's movie on a human subject (Dylan) was a big challenge to execute. Most of the other persons involved in the Puget sound film festival, picked a non human subject. As an aspiring film maker, one of a very young age, a documentary on a human subject was something so big and rare, and very challenging. Josh picked up the challenge, one which didn't just help him win the festival, but also helped him discover the real personality of Dylan; how her mum meant so much to her and how the loss of her mum when she was eight years old had affected her and shaped her social life. When life rejects you as a waste of lemon, shake off the tag and GROW up into a lemonade! I grew up to my early teenage in Ilorin, Kwara state, Nigeria and countless times, I saw my mum poured cooking waste water containing tomato and vegetable seeds into a corner of our backyard through the kitchen window. Also, I grew up always seeing some tomato and vegetable plants growing at the corners of our unused backyard turned dumping site for kitchen waste and I always wondered who planted them and in fact, I also always thought they were unhealthy vegetables since they grow on a mere dirty, sometimes stinking waste-dumping site.
