Do not be a financial fool; seek Knowledge!

Poor people are the worst people to deal with, especially when it is a case of poverty of the mind. A poor man is angry and ungrateful; it bewilders me the more when a poor ignorant man is proud. I am beginning to understand why poor people think the rich are wicked.

All a poor man wants from you is money, and believe me, money is not the problem. I have tried many times but at each try, I have been left frustrated. You cannot help a man that have built his life on wrong paradigms, never!

I have seen people whose actions and lifestyles tended directly towards abject poverty. The worst form is when a man is financially stupid and when you try to advice him, he throws the 'who are you to teach me how to spend my money' at you. I have said this over and over, that 100k you are about to blow may be your only 100k for life.

God gives every man an opportunity to gain access to greatness which may be in the form of money, knowledge, or relationships. Everyone on earth have had an opportunity for greatness which comes in different ways. Fools blow up theirs.

You can start all over again. Seek knowledge, don't be a financial fool. Money is and has never been the problem. The problem is the way you think.

Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. So there are a lot of myths, facts, and opinions out there about happiness. My intention, however, is not to support or discredit any one of them you may have come in contact with before. While it is true that happiness is relative, it is also true that personal happiness is what you make of life. Many people in the world today have different goals and ambitions. There is something which is nonetheless common to almost all of us and that is personal happiness. I have learnt that it is impossible to control the happenings around us but what we can control is our disposition towards these happenings. The major mistake a person can commit is to expect that life will always go as planned or as expected. I have my thoughts about "Prayer". Personally, I had believed more on faith and confidence, than on Prayer. I say this because I've come across a number of persons who believe so much on Prayer, but cannot inspire or give someone some positive vibes in a time of difficulty. You see people who are fast to advise one to pray (and probably fast) when one shares a situation or personal challenge, without doing some brain work and examining physical factors that could've led to the person's challenge and then trying to ensure those physical factors are taken care of before going spiritual. Personally, when talking to people, once I'm trying to relate something with you and you're fast to throw in that spiritual leg, I stop and I'll probably not relate stuffs with you next time.
