We once heard that the Television was the devil's box

Passing by a church over the weekend, my thoughts revolved about a noticeable trend that have stayed in Nigeria, I believe for about a decade or so.

You must have observed same. Churches in recent years now use Religious broadcasting (which is broadcasting by religious organizations, usually with a religious message) to conduct LIVE services.

So, a head quarter church in any part of the country can easily broadcast to any of their satellite churches, and you see people in this satellite churches agreeing and seeing visible results.

Several years ago, people will never try that. They will wonder why you should be looking at somebody in a box, and be dancing, singing and even believe same for miracles. What foolishness? The television was named the devil's box by some sect.
Today, the story now is different, even though some people are still holding on to that.

In fact, I saw a comic image yesterday which showed some people at heaven's gate and they were told they will have to watch heaven from there just as they watched the services from their TV... Funny.

Here is my point:

Our world is a fast paced one, with lots of changes occurring daily. We must approach life with an open mind, not totally condemning things we don't understand as some do. The things we condemn blindly today may be the things we may need to grow and promote our work tomorrow.

If there is a new skill you need to get for your business, go get it.
If there is a new software that people in your field have upgraded to, try and get acquainted with such.
If you see trainings ONLINE that will advance what you are doing or want to do, go for!
If your friends who are getting married have learnt how to relate better with men with no compromise of good values, do well to learn from them.
If you are a brother and you have been failing in your proposals, there is a better way to do it. LEARN

Wishing you a productive week ahead.
