Why do People think that Introverts are Rude or Arrogant?

Myth #1 – Introverts don’t like to talk. This is not true. Introverts just don’t talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won’t shut up for days. Myth #2 – Introverts are shy. Shyness has nothing to do with being an Introvert. You probably may have tried different exploits to get something to work or done but it seem to be infeasible. It gets worse when it drains you away and there is no strength left to give it just one more push. This is the break point – that moment when all you need is just a slight push but your strength is failing you. If your body is weak, your mind cannot afford to be weak. Your mind controls your body. If your will to Succeed in anything is low, there is a chance that you cannot win, for the desire to win and see the end of that, has to be and must be greater than the fear which comes when you doubt yourself or what you can do. Few minutes ago (on the day this was written), a lady accosted me at a shopping mall (Market square at Trans-Amadi). We had an interesting conversation even though we just met. She asked for my contact address.... She was like.. "Since you stay around this axis...may I know your place? So I could visit tomorrow? She asked for my number, I requested to take hers instead and promised to give her a call tonight (I knew where it was all heading) Was she pretty? Of course she was my spec. Will I call her? Absolutely not! Why? She wasn't in the plan this year. There's no space for distractions. Life is all about priorities. If everything is important, then nothing is important. When life rejects you as a waste of lemon, shake off the tag and GROW up into a lemonade! I grew up to my early teenage in Ilorin, Kwara state, Nigeria and countless times, I saw my mum poured cooking waste water containing tomato and vegetable seeds into a corner of our backyard through the kitchen window. Also, I grew up always seeing some tomato and vegetable plants growing at the corners of our unused backyard turned dumping site for kitchen waste and I always wondered who planted them and in fact, I also always thought they were unhealthy vegetables since they grow on a mere dirty, sometimes stinking waste-dumping site. A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. Before that, I'll share some points about earthworms: - They are in the lumbricus genus, there are various species of earthworms, but the common earthworm's scientific name is lumbricus terrestris - Their digestive system runs through the length of their skin - Earthworms respire through their skin - They are hermaphrodites (each one carries both male and female sex organs) - They lack either an internal skeleton or exoskeleton , but maintain their structure with fluid-filled coelom chambers that function as a hydrostatic skeleton. Most of us are familiar with the parable of the prodigal son in the Bible. You know how he foolishly asked for all that was his and how he wasteful spent it all. The question I want to ask is this: Which person in the story best describes you? Perhaps your inner life has been so transformed by God’s forgiveness that you can empathise with others and easily forgive like the father in the story, or perhaps, like the younger son, you’ve demanded God’s gifts and then run your way toward destruction. Maybe, you yearn to return to God, but you are fearful of rejection.
