Everyone's trying to be truly happy, and everyone surely deserves that, because there's no life without happiness. But a lot of persons are much unhappy inside than they seem to be. Eye health: Keeping healthy Eyes (Part 2)

This part focuses on diet and eye health. Good eye health requires the consumption of nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, lutein, zeaxanthin, zinc, beta-carotene, vitamins A, C and E, etcetera. Deficiency of these nutrients contributes to poor eye health Food sources that are positive for eye health include; - Green leafy vegetables like spinach, kale and others - Fruits like citruses and berries (oranges, etcetera). Also almonds, carrots, tomatoes, mangoes, pawpaw - Fatty fish such as tuna, salmon, mackerel. - Non meat protein sources like eggs, nuts, beans, etcetera - Diary products like milk and yoghurt Unhealthy foods such as processed foods, foods containing saturated fats, or foods that are high in sugar, should be limited and less consumed. The session was on Olajumoke Adenowo. ---------- (Diligent Amaka speaking) Olajumoke Olufunmilola Adenowo (born in 1968) is an award-winning Nigerian architect, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, as well as a speaker, radio host, and author. She is the founder of the boutique architecture and interior design firm AD Consultin, based in Lagos, Nigeria. CNN described her as "Africa's Starchitect" and The Guardian (Nigeria) has described her as "the face of Architecture in Nigeria. Adenowo has several philanthropic ventures. In 1999, she founded the Awesome Treasures Foundation (ATF), a faith-based NGO in Lagos, Nigeria. Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. About six months later, I went to check my 300 level second semester result and I now had a CGPA of 4.00. That was the happiest day of my University education. I was rolling on the floor of the room. I read this book about four years ago, and it was a big turning point for me. Much was learnt, I'll share few of them today. You should check it out. The lessons: Death begins when one stops learning, and ageing starts from one's mind, not one's body. One remains young as far as he or she keeps learning; One starts crashing once he or she stops pushing. One's ability to excel mentally is paralyzed once one stops trying and accepts that the results obtained is the best he or she can attain; One's life becomes a burden when one's life is void of progress. And when one's brain isn't working towards anything, it becomes a weight on the body. The brain is motivated when it sees something ahead, something to work towards for; One's success does not demand prayer and fasting, as much as engaging one's senses positively. I'm not a prophet to have made such bold statement, but experience shows clearly that those who do these 3 things only create content for themselves and a few other people. I know you don't want to keep throwing sachet water inside third mainland bridge, neither do you want to fetch water in a basket. You want your content to increase your influence and maximize opportunities. Let's get right into it... You only talk about yourself always: Some people have PhD in selfishness. You can create 7 different contents and everything will be centered around you. You don't really care to talk about your readers, your audience or address their pains.
