Show Love by your Words and Actions

It's easy to say we are loving when everything seems otherwise okay. But the depth of our love for others becomes tested when the conditions around us does not warrant our loving them at all. Showing love here is really difficult and very straining.

If you can still love when you're hurt, betrayed, angered, irritated or falsely accused by others, then we can know that you truly love.

So let's stop professing love to people like it's really deep in us. Let's show it by our words and actions in times when we're tempted to hate them. Only God can help us truly love people.

Happiness and You (Dopamine)

Hi Reader! Hope you're doing good? I was checking up on happiness and how it relates to the body and brain, chemically. I found some interesting stuffs that I'll love to share. There are four chemical substances that are related to happiness in the body: Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin and Endorphins (DOSE). There could be more than four but these four are major. My interest today is on Dopamine. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter which influences "reward-motivated behavior " in relation to happiness. By reward-motivated behavior, it is responsible for the excitement one feels when there's a task to be done with a reward attached. This reward can be a goal to be attained or landmark to be set. A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. It is another interesting movie to talk about. It's a dance movie starring Ryan Guzman (Sean Asa), Misha Gabriel (Eddy, co-leader of the Mob with Sean), Kathryn McCormick (Emily Anderson), Peter Gallagher (William Bill Anderson), among others. I think you guys will love the movie. As usual, I'll share the lessons I learnt from the movie. • It's really cool seeing the team Sean and Eddy put together. They brought different talented dancers together so they could express their voices as a team and make a bigger difference collectively. It's also great having a team of people who share same goals and who are committed. Late night eating is unhealthy for you

Late night eating is a common habit that have become integrated into the lives of many people. Lot of persons work till late at night, and have to take late dinner. Even persons who are aware of its unhealthiness sometimes find it difficult to stop. However, everyone wants a healthy life and have to promote healthy eating to achieve that. Having late dinners, or snacking late at night may not really affect a night worker whose day is night and vice versa, but it's unhealthy for one who sleeps at night. At night, one doesn't expend much energy, and the body's metabolism is slower and thus, having late dinners, especially eating heavy food and overeating can result in weight gain, and increased blood sugar levels which can be a predisposition to chronic diseases, including heart attack and stroke. How would you define "Life" if you were asked to? I was thinking about this and I came up with two simple definitions, which are related to each other. Life is happiness; and Life is loving yourself, loving others and loving God. Both definitions are related because you can't be happy without loving yourself, loving others and loving God. A large book can be written just to break down this definition. Loving yourself means you do the things that makes you happy, not just happy but also helps you grow and get better and more positive.
