The Attitude Of A Champion

You are not a Champion because you wore a bespoke attire. Champions are not advertised on Facebook. You do not exaggerate it. A Champion is a Champ because of an attitude. A winning attitude.

Champions have great character. Champions are disciplined people. Champions are people with honour. Champions do not want to succeed by bringing others down. Champions are team players. Champions do not glory in themselves. Champions are not satisfied with where they are at the moment. Champions may be local but think globally, or they may be global but appropriate their ideas to fit their local environment. It is sad our society fails to honour the true Champions, but that is changing.

I celebrate my Champions today.

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. Principle versus Formula

Productivity is better than Activity and Principle is better than formula. Principles will birth productivity whereas Formulas will only produce activity. For example, It is possible to sleep four hours a day and achieve significantly less than someone who sleeps eight hours a day, while claiming anybody that sleeps above four hours is lazy. When it comes to success, there might be principles but not formulas (I mean mindless copying). Some people just copy too much, not seeing that a lot of factors are involved. The most important thing is to learn the principles and tailor it to your unique situation. Make your work time count. I remember students back in school who claimed to be reading all night (and they were) but had little or nothing to show in their result and there were others who never went through that stress and made straight A's.
