You need a Mansion, Build On!

The Foundation is Important, Yes; so is the roofing too.

Beautiful childhood memories I have, maybe the most beautiful ever told (at least that was the one I witnessed, don't know of any other).
God bless our parents who wore us lovely clothes and took us to church, - to children ministry which was so much fun. Virtually everything was composed into song; Bible study, Memory verses, etcetera. There would always be rhyme and rhythm, melody and harmony. We would dance, sing on top of our voices, laugh so hard and feel all excited! I remember kingdom dance, we usually were the front liners shaking our entire being in our beautiful attires, panty hose and the rest. We would eat biscuits, celebrate birthdays, pray with tightly closed eyes, give special numbers...
As we grew older, you'll be questioned about your head covering, so much jewellery spaghetti handed dresses, etcetera (lol). We would go for camp meetings...
Catechism came, we memorized plenty things, plenty, and recited with exactness. We were having fun yet principles were being instilled, seeds were being sown, Christ was presented to us in the best form... Foundation was laid!

The foundation of a house is very key. Depending on the height of the building, the depth of the foundation is determined. As crucial as the foundation is, no one lives in a foundation, I mean, you don't even spend the night on your foundation no matter how much you spent on it! Foundation isn't a house!
You don't stop at the foundation, you build on, to lintel level, depending on the type of the house, you may now roof and put the other fittings, windows... furnishings, etcetera.

Did you stop at the little you were taught years ago? Are you still at the foundation level? How many more blocks have you added? How hard have you dug? Searched? Sought? To find out more truths about Christ. You're grown now, "Aunty umuazi" (children teacher) has done her part, it's yours to do now. It doesn't matter where you abandoned the building, don't just let it remain the same, pick your shovel... Build on...!
Your foundation cannot shelter you... You sure do need a Roofed mansion.

As new born babes, desire the sincere milk of the Word that you may grow thereby... (1 Peter 2:2).
