I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. This part focuses on diet and eye health. Good eye health requires the consumption of nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, lutein, zeaxanthin, zinc, beta-carotene, vitamins A, C and E, etcetera. Getting into marriage without planning and discussing your expectations about the marriage is like flagging down a taxi and not knowing why or where you want it to take you. I'm I going to work after marriage or be a full time house wife?, how many kids?, yes to family planning or not?, whose in charge of what?, sleep in different bedrooms or same bedroom?, etcetera. I once encountered a married lady who after marriage was taking contraceptives without her husbands knowledge because she didn't want kids immediately, while he wanted kids. I asked her, "what exactly did you guys discuss during courtship? You mean to tell me that you guys didn't discuss children and when to start having them?". She couldn't answer me. Passing by a church over the weekend, my thoughts revolved about a noticeable trend that have stayed in Nigeria, I believe for about a decade or so. You must have observed same. Churches in recent years now use Religious broadcasting (which is broadcasting by religious organizations, usually with a religious message) to conduct LIVE services. So, a head quarter church in any part of the country can easily broadcast to any of their satellite churches, and you see people in this satellite churches agreeing and seeing visible results. Several years ago, people will never try that. They will wonder why you should be looking at somebody in a box, and be dancing, singing and even believe same for miracles. What foolishness? Investors and banks don't fund ideas. They invest in going concerns and buy equity in businesses that have been prototyped, and have a proven business model & market. Friends, family members, philanthropists, grant making organisations and competitions fund ideas. If you're an early stage business, stop looking for investors or loans. Register for grants from organisations like Tony Elumelu Foundation, go for competitions like Google Launchpad or look for a benevolent uncle. These sources of funds are "no pressure". If you allow fear, it will cripple you, immobilize you, destabilize you, ridicule you, reduce you, limit you and render you useless. That's the power of fear. I attended a Youth night vigil a while back organized at a Zonal level. I pleaded with the Zonal Youth President to give me an opportunity to give a presentation and he obliged me. I picked a topic on communication with special focus on how to apologize. I personally don't like to do presentations with any materials or reminder aids, I just prepare, show up and present, I PERSONALLY believe that there's no need for one to step out before an audience with a pen and paper except you're gonna be giving a very lengthy talk or a very complex one and that presenting without any paper before you, gives your presentation a kind of professional touch.
