You Attract Who You Think You Deserve

"And then, there’s the matter of relationships. If you think that you don’t deserve much, you attract friends and partners into your life who won’t treat you very well. I’ll bet you know someone who always seems to go out with the “wrong” person. In fact, the last 29 people they’ve gone out with were wrong for them. Do you think this is a mere coincidence? Oh, no. There is a deeply held belief inside that individual that attracts these people into his or her life."
(from Jeff Keller's Attitude is Everything)

This is one reason why I either rebuke or stay away from persons who say negatives about relationship or try to paint a negative picture of the opposite sex. Their minds need some reorientation and their thoughts need repositioning. And if one has such persons around him/her, one should either rebuke them or do a change of friends and association.

If one continually thinks negative - the world is bad, people are bad, the opposite sex is not trustworthy or has a fault; such person will attract such negatives. Instead, if one thinks he or she deserves someone good, nice, kind, trustworthy... one should think that way, and by thinking, begins to take actions and develop attitudes that will attract who he/she thinks he (or she) deserves.
