Graced!

Grace is mostly defined or termed as unmerited favour.

We all have experienced God's grace, either directly (personally) or indirectly (testiomonies from other people).

No matter the way or how that experience of grace (unmerited favour) happened. ONE thing was evident; 'It could only be God'

When we are faced with challenges and your faith is dwindling, just remember that grace experience and be assured that if He did it before, He will do it again.

For His thought towards us are that of Good and not of evil to give us an expected end.
Be expentant because He is your father.

False Evidence Appearing Real

I can remember my first steps going before a crowd. I was asked to take the Bible reading in Church on a Sunday. By the time I mounted the pulpit, I had to grip the pulpit for support because I just discovered that I could no longer stand straight again out of fear and nervousness. I was shaking like a dry leaf in harmattan. I felt I was going to have a seizure or just fall and embarrass my generation. My legs were wobbling, it was like I had no bone in them. I couldn't look at the crowd, it was terrible, and I can't remember how I survived the few minutes it took for me to finish the Bible reading. I never wanted to get there again, but next Sunday, I was back there, and the Sunday after that, and every other Sunday, and there we have it. Nature versus Nuture

Your physical features can be identified as identical to that of your parents, like your eyes from your father, and the hair color from your mother. However, your personality and talents may have come not from your father or mother. The environment where you grew up may have a lasting effect or influence on that way you talk, behave and respond to the things around you. Culled from Sarah Mae Cero Scientists argue over the influence of nature which is our genetic make-up and nurture which is our environment. However the argument is basically to determine which influences us more. But they agree that each plays a role in contributing to who we are today. As Christians, we are caught up in this nature versus nurture interplay. We were made after his nurture, but when sin interfered our genetic make up was corrupted (a missense mutation). Principle versus Formula

Productivity is better than Activity and Principle is better than formula. Principles will birth productivity whereas Formulas will only produce activity. For example, It is possible to sleep four hours a day and achieve significantly less than someone who sleeps eight hours a day, while claiming anybody that sleeps above four hours is lazy. When it comes to success, there might be principles but not formulas (I mean mindless copying). Some people just copy too much, not seeing that a lot of factors are involved. The most important thing is to learn the principles and tailor it to your unique situation. Make your work time count. I remember students back in school who claimed to be reading all night (and they were) but had little or nothing to show in their result and there were others who never went through that stress and made straight A's. It is good to look out for working formulas but it's more important to know what works for you and so you can manipulate the formula...

IPad, Android Phones Versus Bible

Yesterday (on the day this was written), I watched Pastor Chris Oyakilome live as he preached. He used his iPad to read out scriptures. Later in the day, I saw a post on Instagram, and one guy like that insulted Pastor Chris for using iPad, instead of his Bible. I laughed at the man's ignorance. I remember an Uncle of mine was invited to a Church. He went there with his iPad, and someone asked him: "Sir, where is your Bible?” He showed him his 10.1 inches Pad. “But Sir,” he said, “This is not a Bible, this is iPad, you need to carry your Bible. You're not a good preacher, if you don't preach with your Bible," one of the pastors said. Now this is my point: Before the advent of printing press, the scriptures were originally written on a scroll! The ten commandments were written on a stone! Not on a Book called “Holy Book”. Truth be told, I believe in that proverbial saying "shoe have sizes". A man who doesn't recognize the relevance of his shoe size will end up with an over sized or an under sized shoe. It's not all Ladies, that one can afford. No matter one's bank account, even if you're Nigeria's richest man, Dangote. Financial capacity aside, there are some Ladies beyond your mental capacity, who reason now beyond the way you will in the next five years (no insult intended, just reality). I have met such Ladies. Then there's Spiritual capacity. As a Pastor, or upcoming Pastor (If such title exists), or one with the Call of God on one's life; and who gets married to a Lady or a Man, who has no interest in God or the Church, how would one cope with one's partner who has some added spiritual responsibilities as a Preacher of the Gospel, or/and a Partner who doesn't feel okay or appreciate your calling as a Spiritual leader? Me : Good morning Ma (In my most polite tone). Patient : Gudmonin ooo. Abeg una get paracetamol cd? Me : (switching to pidgin) Yes, but who wan take am? Patient : (hesitates, then finally speaks) Na my pikin. Me : How many years wey him dey? Patient : 2 years old. Me : How him body dey do am? Patient : Nothing dey do am... I just wan keep am incase of incasity. Me : Okay, but madam, e for beta say you give am paracetamol syrup instead of the tablet becau... ( Patient cuts in ): Nooo madam, tablet dey work well well pass that water mericine. Once I sama my pikin I tab, him dey get himself fast fast... Sir James Dyson is a British inventor, industrial designer and the founder of Dyson company. He's presently 70 years old (born in 1947). He was involved in some inventions including the sea truck in 1970, the Ballbarrow (his first original invention) and the Wheelboat, which can travel on both land and water. James Dyson is best know for inventing the Dual Cyclone bagless vacuum cleaner, the world's first bagless vacuum cleaner. Before it's invention, the hoover vacuum was in use but this vacuum had a dust bag which get clogged with dust and this affects its performance, as it losses suction. It took over 5,000 trials and failures and about 5 years (with support from his wife's salary as an art teacher) before Dyson succeeded.
