A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. Before that, I'll share some points about earthworms: - They are in the lumbricus genus, there are various species of earthworms, but the common earthworm's scientific name is lumbricus terrestris - Their digestive system runs through the length of their skin - Earthworms respire through their skin - They are hermaphrodites (each one carries both male and female sex organs) - They lack either an internal skeleton or exoskeleton , but maintain their structure with fluid-filled coelom chambers that function as a hydrostatic skeleton. Everyone's trying to be truly happy, and everyone surely deserves that, because there's no life without happiness. But a lot of persons are much unhappy inside than they seem to be. Sometimes the pain they feel deep inside gets to a threshold, where they can't keep on putting up false happiness, and their true feelings are more often expressed. For a good number of persons, they redefine happiness, and their definition of happiness does not bring them true happiness, though it feels so at the beginning, but at the end, it only adds to the pain they already feel. I wonder why people take the word "Calling" to be a religious word. Calling isn't a religious word. Just like Baptism. The problem is, when people get to find out the use of a word first in the Bible, they think it's a religious word. Calling is gotten from the greek word "vocatio" which means work, task, or vocation. Your calling is what you're meant to be doing for the rest of your life. It's a task, it's your life's assignment. It doesn't have to be religious. We can't all be pastors... just think about it. If we all become Pastors, who will produce the cars we drive? Who will be our structure engineers? Who will work for the tithe? Think about it.. If then, you say it's only ministerial activities that are callings, do you mean the others are joking or wasting their time, or they were never called?
