God functions from You

That Altar in your Church built by men is not as sacred as You if you have the Holy Spirit dwelling in You!
You are holier than the altar.
The main altar is in me. So when I kneel at the Altar of our Church, I come with God’s presence. It is my presence as a Child of God that even makes that place a sacred place!

So, when I wish to kneel at the Altar and pray, it means I just want to separate myself from the crowd for a while and pray!
I love the idea of Chapels in big churches. For me, it's a quiet place where you can run from distraction and concentrate on God but it is not another special place where another kind of God’s power is made available.

If the Spirit of God isn’t in You, you are wasting your time at that altar. If you don’t have a personal relationship with God, I wonder who you are talking to at that altar!
God functions from you and not from the altar, podium or stage in our Churches.

Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. Don't consider age when instilling discipline in your kids, rather consider their maturity. Some kids are smarter than normal for their age and should be corrected early enough if not you may be tempted to think they are still children not knowing they are learning fast and developing character. Try and discern difference among your kids. If a method worked for one doesn't mean it must work for the other. Identify the ones that need more attention and give such more attention so that they can catch up with the others and gain independence. I dislike it when I see Godly parents having ungodly kids. Your children are a reflection of your level of spiritual responsibility. Teach them how to comport themselves in church, don't always have that attitude that they are kids, and leave them. No!
