The Gains will not cease to flow, for as long as the Brain does not cease to work.

Gains on ground is a sign of Brain(s) at work.

Wake up the Brain to download the Gains.

When you suffer a loss (or losses), stir up the Brain to reverse the order.

If you want to multiply your Gains, intensify the workings of your Brain.

The only way to turn Brain into Gain is to put the Brain to work.

With the Brain at work, you no longer suffer drains.

Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. There is a phenomenon in Psychology known as FALSE CONSENSUS EFFECT. This effect refers to the tendency to overestimate the extent to which others share our opinions, attributes, emotions, feelings and behaviors. Simply put, it means one thinking or assuming that others feel or think same way as they do. Why am I bringing this up today, or at all? A lot of times we fall prey to this effect. We misjudge and assume certain things to our very detriment and hurt... Husband assumes the reason he wants something is the same reason his wife does; the wife assumes her husband feels the same way she does about sex or kids or family life. 1. You don't need much before you start adding value. Start where you are with what you know. All I did was help people craft one simple sentence but the impact will last a lifetime. You can also add value with the little you know. 2. Activity is not necessarily productivity. I did not have to leave my home to organize a class in a posh place and ask people to meet with me there. The internet changed all that. From the comfort of my home I added value to hundreds of people who in turn will add value to others because of what they've learnt. 3. Your candle does not go out because you helped others light their candles. It only makes the world brighter. The face you give when you launch a new product and instead of people to buy they say "Congratulations, I am proud of you". Am I the only that has experienced this? When I first launched my first book, At the River Bank, I had a lot of people that told me Congratulations, the moral support was something else but that Moral support demoralized me and I gave into depression. Do you know why? Only one person purchased my book on the day I launched it. The person that even purchased the book was my friend, Promise Excel. Over 300 congratulations and only one person purchased the book. How does that sound? Have you been in this same situation?
