How would you define "Life" if you were asked to? I was thinking about this and I came up with two simple definitions, which are related to each other. Life is happiness; and Life is loving yourself, loving others and loving God. Both definitions are related because you can't be happy without loving yourself, loving others and loving God. A large book can be written just to break down this definition. Loving yourself means you do the things that makes you happy, not just happy but also helps you grow and get better and more positive. When life rejects you as a waste of lemon, shake off the tag and GROW up into a lemonade! I grew up to my early teenage in Ilorin, Kwara state, Nigeria and countless times, I saw my mum poured cooking waste water containing tomato and vegetable seeds into a corner of our backyard through the kitchen window. Also, I grew up always seeing some tomato and vegetable plants growing at the corners of our unused backyard turned dumping site for kitchen waste and I always wondered who planted them and in fact, I also always thought they were unhealthy vegetables since they grow on a mere dirty, sometimes stinking waste-dumping site. No matter how spiritual you are, I may not agree with you on all issues. You may have personal beliefs that resulted from your experiences over time, that doesn't make it God's Word or changes God's word. We live by faith and not by experience. There may be universal principles but different pathways and circumstances influenced by our levels of appreciation of God's word. Don't impose your experiences on people in the name of wisdom. True wisdom is God's word. Teach the word and allow people move at their pace taking baby steps until they master their own art of absolute dependence on God. My confessions are powerful, they may not be reasonable but I am what I believe. I have chosen not to bend them to suit experiences, I have chosen to make them all positive.
