Be There To Pick Her Up

As men, it's natural to be protective and want to impose our will and choices on someone we love.

Most times it's not a show of ego and superiority. It's just a strong instinctive desire to wanna protect her, feeling we know better and understand better.

But trust me.. Most times you have to say yes to her personal wishes and allow her make some choices of her own.
And even when She makes mistakes, be there to pick her up and keep her pride. Don't jump at saying "I told you so".

I have read lots of interview questions and answers online before then like I was going to get a 10 million naira job. Staying without job for a year was the lowest point of my life. Truth be told, I believe in that proverbial saying "shoe have sizes". A man who doesn't recognize the relevance of his shoe size will end up with an over sized or an under sized shoe. It's not all Ladies, that one can afford. No matter one's bank account, even if you're Nigeria's richest man, Dangote. Financial capacity aside, there are some Ladies beyond your mental capacity, who reason now beyond the way you will in the next five years (no insult intended, just reality). I have met such Ladies. A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. Just two years after our marriage, my husband brought up the idea of asking his Mother to move from the rural hometown and spend her remaining years with us. His father passed away while he was still very young. His mum endured much hardship and struggled all on her own to provide for him, and see him through to the University.
