Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. Our present is a factual reflection of how great our past was. We all have past, filled with different experience. Our past is always on the increase while our future on decrease. We all dream of a greater and better future but we are still loyal to our past. We can't create the future of our dream with the same attitude, perspective, relationships and decisions that created our today. What brought us here, wouldn't take us there. You may have personal beliefs that resulted from your experiences over time, that doesn't make it God's Word or changes God's word. We live by faith and not by experience. There may be universal principles but different pathways and circumstances influenced by our levels of appreciation of God's word. Don't impose your experiences on people in the name of wisdom. True wisdom is God's word. Teach the word and allow people move at their pace taking baby steps until they master their own art of absolute dependence on God.
