WORD Quotes for this Week

The WORD Quotes today, is credited to Akande M. Olatunji.

The Quotes:

• Some Christians who excessively engage in “Spiritual warfare” spend much time and energy negotiating and chatting with the devil each day, than they do talking to God. That is abnormal and so inappropriate. The scriptures never instructed us to bag PH.D. in DEMONology.
The best warfare to engage in is focusing on Jesus!

• Actually, the problem is not about the OLD testament. We learn from the Old testament. The problem is the OLD COVENANT!

• It is a thing to BE in charge, it is another thing to KNOW that You are in charge.
It is a thing to BE FREE, it is another thing to KNOW you're FREE!
You need to carry the consciousness of your covenant position in Christ!

• If You never watched the movie 'Terminator', then I doubt if your childhood was fun. Lol. See the movie on the surface, don’t dig deep. In terminator 1, Arnold is the bad guy. He dies in the end. In terminator 2, He rises again as a Good guy. Was Bad, Died Bad and raised up New.
Now, hear this: You were a Sinner, you died as a sinner and you rose up as a Saint! A New creation!
Save that junk "WE'RE ALL SINNERS" to yourself!
Thank You.

• The emancipation proclamation was released in 1863 declaring that “Every slave is Free now. Slavery is illegal”.
Slaves were declared free but Slavery was not abolished on that day because many continued to be slaves as they “DIDN'T KNOW” that they had been set free.
The Church is in the same condition. Jesus has set us free from Sin and its results. We go through life getting beaten by sin and it results because we “don’t know” we are free!
May we understand!
