• Avoiding something doesn't mean you don’t want it. Sometimes, it means that you do want it, but you know it isn't right for you.

• Don’t tell people your plans. Show them your results.

• Never push a loyal person to the point where they no longer care.

• When someone smells good, it automatically makes them more attractive.

• Psychology says, attempting to convince yourself that you don't care about someone is a clear indicator that you really do.

• Never give your secret to anyone because if you can't keep it to yourself don't expect others to.

• The best revenge is to move on, get over it and continue to succeed. Never give someone the satisfaction of watching you suffer.

• Don’t depend too much on anyone in this world because even your own shadow leaves you when you are in darkness.

• If you raised your voice – You've already lost the argument.

• Ironically, we tend to want what we can't have. Then once we get it, we don't want it anymore.

Passing by a church over the weekend, my thoughts revolved about a noticeable trend that have stayed in Nigeria, I believe for about a decade or so. You must have observed same. Churches in recent years now use Religious broadcasting (which is broadcasting by religious organizations, usually with a religious message) to conduct LIVE services. So, a head quarter church in any part of the country can easily broadcast to any of their satellite churches, and you see people in this satellite churches agreeing and seeing visible results. I am a member of "The Let's Talk About Series" community. I'll be sharing notes from one of the sessions we had this year. The session was on Olajumoke Adenowo. ---------- (Diligent Amaka speaking) Olajumoke Olufunmilola Adenowo (born in 1968) is an award-winning Nigerian architect, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, as well as a speaker, radio host, and author. She is the founder of the boutique architecture and interior design firm AD Consultin, based in Lagos, Nigeria. CNN described her as "Africa's Starchitect" and The Guardian (Nigeria) has described her as "the face of Architecture in Nigeria. Adenowo has several philanthropic ventures. In 1999, she founded the Awesome Treasures Foundation (ATF), a faith-based NGO in Lagos, Nigeria. Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. Have You found yourself pretending before God? Well, You may begin to think in the lines of hypocrisy but that's not what I'm taking about. Remember that step You were not willing to take but You just acted as though you were excited about doing it so You won't get God angry. Remember that Bible verse You have not come to believe but You pretended You did just to make God happy with You. I can go on and on but I think You get what I mean. At this point I want to tell You to drop the pretence. The earlier You realize that God is okay with You being honest, the better for You. Even if your honesty reflects immaturity, don't worry. Tell God your doubts, tell Him those things You are skeptical about. Tell it to Him. Be honest about it and God won't send thunder and brimstone after You, rather He will teach You. Love has no logic, it is blind to logic

Love originates from the soul and can only be given, felt, received and appreciated by the soul. Love is our essence, love is wisdom, and love is a spiritual concept. If God is love and God is a spirit, then love must be a spirit and loving must thus be a spiritual activity at its core. We find it impossible to love because we live from the mind. The mind functions on logic and reason but love has no reason or logic to it, that's why true love is inexpiable and most times seems like foolishness to people of the world. The mind is continually seeking for a reason to love and it has criteria for qualifying and disqualifying people for love. True love is blind to such logic because you don't need a reason to love anybody; you love because it is natural to do so. When we use our mind to qualify and quantify love, we will end up in suspicion and mistrust. This is one of the best shortest books I've read so far. It's so short (about 41 pages) that one could finish it within a couple of hours. But every page of it; almost every paragraph of it has an inspiring bomb! It's a book one could go through every morning if possible, or maybe at the beginning of the week. It's cool! Think like a Champion was written by America's 45th and current president, Donald Trump. Donald is a successful businessman and television personality, and he shares so much successful tips that's helpful to everyone who wants success and wants to stay successful. I'll share a little of what I learnt from this book. I want you to get this book, and have some mental fun with it, as well. • Never sell yourself short!
