Invest the Right Words

A woman once said, – Beauty attracts men but wisdom keeps them. Elegance catches men’s attention but intelligence convinces them. Nagging irritates men but constructive silence weakens them.

The ‘boy’ in every man pumps out occasionally; the ability to handle this is a woman’s truest maturity. Men have secret struggles and silent pains. Should you ever find them out, you have exhibited the greatest maturity.

Your words matters more to a man than your looks. So, invest the right words. Earn a man’s respect and he will consider you the yard stick for all his action. Learn to mold the moods of your man. Men will naturally give you their futures if they can recall your maturity in yesterday’s issues.

Women are everywhere but Queens are scarce. Let the queen in you come alive and he will hold you in high esteem. Build your home through Wisdom! A word is enough for the wise.

Free from what fought me mentally... I love this line by Kierra Sheard. Some of the battles we fight are not spiritual but mental. I hear people saying, and postulating that our Ladies have nothing to offer in relationships, and that apart from sex, eighty percent or thereabout of ladies have nothing else to contribute to relationships. How they arrived at such statistics, I know not. Who did the research, the number of ladies they sampled, and the research method employed, till date - the mystery remains unexplained. To me, this may be an issue of generalization and a case of a few bad eggs. Then again, I may be wrong oh, and it may be a case of a few good eggs and that of ''to every rumor there is an element of truth''. When life rejects you as a waste of lemon, shake off the tag and GROW up into a lemonade! I grew up to my early teenage in Ilorin, Kwara state, Nigeria and countless times, I saw my mum poured cooking waste water containing tomato and vegetable seeds into a corner of our backyard through the kitchen window. Also, I grew up always seeing some tomato and vegetable plants growing at the corners of our unused backyard turned dumping site for kitchen waste and I always wondered who planted them and in fact, I also always thought they were unhealthy vegetables since they grow on a mere dirty, sometimes stinking waste-dumping site. It is another interesting movie to talk about. It's a dance movie starring Ryan Guzman (Sean Asa), Misha Gabriel (Eddy, co-leader of the Mob with Sean), Kathryn McCormick (Emily Anderson), Peter Gallagher (William Bill Anderson), among others. I think you guys will love the movie. As usual, I'll share the lessons I learnt from the movie. • It's really cool seeing the team Sean and Eddy put together. They brought different talented dancers together so they could express their voices as a team and make a bigger difference collectively. It's also great having a team of people who share same goals and who are committed. They didn't just gave themselves a voice, they also gave a lot of persons a voice and at the end, their voices were heard.
