The Comfort Zone, a bigger threat than hardship

What! Just because you're comfortable where you are doesn't mean there ain't no better place.
Sometimes, we're too lazy to step up and own what we really want.

I took a cab today (on the day this was written) heading somewhere and then two taxi drivers (The Driver of the car I entered and another one) – their conversation ended with:
Other Driver: In 2030, there would be cars running without fuel.
Our Driver: So what! I won't throw away this one na, I'd still be using it.

You just can't believe how shocked I was to hear that.

You see, truth of the matter is people don't get to advance because they're comfortable where they are. The greatest enemy to your tomorrow is your today. You need to understand that today is a phase for tomorrow to come. It's not a final bus stop.
Don't hold on to yesterday like it's a prize. There are better days ahead.

And if you really want to get the best out of life, you need to be uncomfortable with where you are now.
Somewhere somehow somebody is pushing himself/herself to become the top one of your craft.

Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos was the world’s richest person for less than a day, as Bill Gates reclaimed the top stop within eight hours. It took eight hours for Bill to change the record. You see!

Get out of your comfort zone!
Ease is a greater threat than hardship! Without commitment you won't be able to start a thing but most importantly without consistency you won't be able to finish it.

It's either I design the site for him or I give him a video tutorial that teaches him how to do it. Either way, I'm making money. Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. Kids and Maturity:

Don't consider age when instilling discipline in your kids, rather consider their maturity. Some kids are smarter than normal for their age and should be corrected early enough if not you may be tempted to think they are still children not knowing they are learning fast and developing character. Try and discern difference among your kids. If a method worked for one doesn't mean it must work for the other. Identify the ones that need more attention and give such more attention so that they can catch up with the others and gain independence. I dislike it when I see Godly parents having ungodly kids. Your children are a reflection of your level of spiritual responsibility. Teach them how to comport themselves in church, don't always have that attitude that they are kids, and leave them. No!
