You are Stronger than the Storms

Just when you feel you have it all together and you feel like all your problems are under control, life advances like a disastrous hurricane to blow our fragile confidence to smithereens. The safety and peace we fought so hard to build are destroyed and our souls exposed to fear and intense doubts once again. This is the way of life.

Stand strong in your resolve to turn things around and weather the storm like a warrior. The second storm usually comes to test our faith and confirm our resolve to be the best that we can be. Gradually all that falls apart start falling back into place like magic. Avoid the temptation of giving up and going back to your old ways. Resist the lure of returning to the comfort of your past. The universe will protect you and ensure that the damage is minimal. Take responsibility for your life and drive forward with hope and passion. Never let the storms of life blow out the fire of desire that burns within.

Hi Reader! Hope you're doing good? I was checking up on happiness and how it relates to the body and brain, chemically. I found some interesting stuffs that I'll love to share. There are four chemical substances that are related to happiness in the body: Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin and Endorphins (DOSE). There could be more than four but these four are major. My interest today is on Dopamine. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter which influences "reward-motivated behavior " in relation to happiness. By reward-motivated behavior, it is responsible for the excitement one feels when there's a task to be done with a reward attached. This reward can be a goal to be attained or landmark to be set. A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. It is another interesting movie to talk about. It's a dance movie starring Ryan Guzman (Sean Asa), Misha Gabriel (Eddy, co-leader of the Mob with Sean), Kathryn McCormick (Emily Anderson), Peter Gallagher (William Bill Anderson), among others. I think you guys will love the movie. As usual, I'll share the lessons I learnt from the movie. • It's really cool seeing the team Sean and Eddy put together. They brought different talented dancers together so they could express their voices as a team and make a bigger difference collectively. It's also great having a team of people who share same goals and who are committed. They didn't just gave themselves a voice, they also gave a lot of persons a voice and at the end, their voices were heard. Late night eating is a common habit that have become integrated into the lives of many people. Lot of persons work till late at night, and have to take late dinner. Even persons who are aware of its unhealthiness sometimes find it difficult to stop. However, everyone wants a healthy life and have to promote healthy eating to achieve that. Having late dinners, or snacking late at night may not really affect a night worker whose day is night and vice versa, but it's unhealthy for one who sleeps at night. At night, one doesn't expend much energy, and the body's metabolism is slower and thus, having late dinners, especially eating heavy food and overeating can result in weight gain, and increased blood sugar levels which can be a predisposition to chronic diseases, including heart attack and stroke. Stephen King, currently 69 years (born 1947) is a successful writer, who has published over 50 novels and 200 short stories. He published several of his books under the pen name, Richard Bachman. His books has sold over 350 million copies worldwide. Some of his books has also won king several awards. That was just a short summary of King's Success. But as we should know, behind every success lies some failures. And most often, the failures comes at the start of that great thing.
