Results OR Regrets?

Five Years from now, you will have either of two things;

– Results or
– Regrets

Results will happen because You followed your Passion and dreams, and refused to listen to or accept any excuse why you couldn't and shouldn't, (results like certificates, degrees, a happy home, your own company, books you have written, your own fashion house, lives you have touched, that dream house, dream car, dream political office, or career).

Regrets will happen because you denied yourself, you refused to pursue your dreams and follow your passion, you listened and accepted the excuses that people gave you about why you couldn't chase and achieve your dreams and why you shouldn't.

Which would you want to have in five years time? You know what to do.

How Airplanes fly? (brief summary)

I will love to write a little science about airplanes being able to fly. I'll only give a basic summary of a more detailed science. Photo Credit: freepik.com Four forces act on a flying airplane: the LIFT acting upward, the WEIGHT acting downwards, the THRUST acting forward, and the DRAG acting backwards. The LIFT is the force that makes the airplane move upward, and it is balanced by an opposite force, the WEIGHT which the plane exerts downwards and which is as a result of the plane's weight including the weight of people and loads on the plane. The THRUST is the force that makes the plane move forward, and it is balanced by a resistance force, the DRAG. Thus, for a plane to move forward, the THRUST must be greater than the DRAG; and for the same plane to move upwards, the LIFT must be greater than the WEIGHT. Some years ago, I began to have some thoughts about life. Everyday, we come across people who put up false happiness. Everyone's trying to be truly happy, and everyone surely deserves that, because there's no life without happiness. But a lot of persons are much unhappy inside than they seem to be. Sometimes the pain they feel deep inside gets to a threshold, where they can't keep on putting up false happiness, and their true feelings are more often expressed. For a good number of persons, they redefine happiness, and their definition of happiness does not bring them true happiness, though it feels so at the beginning, but at the end, it only adds to the pain they already feel. False Evidence Appearing Real

I can remember my first steps going before a crowd. I was asked to take the Bible reading in Church on a Sunday. By the time I mounted the pulpit, I had to grip the pulpit for support because I just discovered that I could no longer stand straight again out of fear and nervousness. I was shaking like a dry leaf in harmattan. I felt I was going to have a seizure or just fall and embarrass my generation. My legs were wobbling, it was like I had no bone in them. I couldn't look at the crowd, it was terrible, and I can't remember how I survived the few minutes it took for me to finish the Bible reading. I never wanted to get there again, but next Sunday, I was back there, and the Sunday after that, and every other Sunday, and there we have it. Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. About six months later, I went to check my 300 level second semester result and I now had a CGPA of 4.00. That was the happiest day of my University education. I was rolling on the floor of the room. Your physical features can be identified as identical to that of your parents, like your eyes from your father, and the hair color from your mother. However, your personality and talents may have come not from your father or mother. The environment where you grew up may have a lasting effect or influence on that way you talk, behave and respond to the things around you. Culled from Sarah Mae Cero Scientists argue over the influence of nature which is our genetic make-up and nurture which is our environment. However the argument is basically to determine which influences us more. But they agree that each plays a role in contributing to who we are today. A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. Understanding the Working of Grace

Grace makes you supernatural, not moral. The ability to say no to evil or anything wrong morally isn't by grace but by conscience exercised. When Paul the apostle said in Titus 2:12 that grace teaches us to deny ungodliness, he is talking about the supernatural life grace gets us into. Not to steal or to avoid stealing is a moral thing. You don't need grace for that. You don't need grace in order to start talking good or bad. Your conscience is there to pilot you on such activities. Joseph didn't overcome Portiphar's wife by grace, because Joseph hadn't the Spirit in him. It wasn't grace that taught Joseph to eschewed the sex trap, but his conscience!
