Productizing Your Services

The easiest way to make more money from your business is to productize some of your services.

So, if a client who wants to have a website approaches me, he has two options. It's either I design the site for him or I give him a video tutorial that teaches him how to do it. Either way, I'm making money.

In the case where he doesn't have money at all, well, I send him to a free guide that teaches him the basics. Who knows, he might still come back to me in the future for consultation or something else.

The good thing is you can create products from almost every services you render.

What of a lawyer who wrote a book on how to register a business with CAC effortlessly?
What about the graphic designer who created a video tutorial on how to design?
Remember GTB *737#? It's a product.

Now start thinking of how to productize your services.
Mention any service you render and I'll tell you how to productize it.

I read this book about four years ago, and it was a big turning point for me. Much was learnt, I'll share few of them today. You should check it out. The lessons: Death begins when one stops learning, and ageing starts from one's mind, not one's body. One remains young as far as he or she keeps learning; One starts crashing once he or she stops pushing. One's ability to excel mentally is paralyzed once one stops trying and accepts that the results obtained is the best he or she can attain; One's life becomes a burden when one's life is void of progress. And when one's brain isn't working towards anything, it becomes a weight on the body. The brain is motivated when it sees something ahead, something to work towards for; One's success does not demand prayer and fasting, as much as engaging one's senses positively. It's immaturity to generalize on certain issues. Foolishness is to assert unproven facts. Not all Church attendees are believers in Christ, so don't always judge a Church by the congregants. Stop making sweeping statements against Churches. Not all believers do the Word. A Church member may not be living according to the teaching of His Pastor, check Jesus and the Apostles. Don't hit at Pastors for all conducts displayed by congregants. Not all large Churches are polluting the Gospel, some smaller congregations breed heresy, some large ones are sound. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, not the wrapper! Not all Young ministers (aged wise) are inexperienced; not all aged ministers are experienced. Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69.
