Productizing Your Services

The easiest way to make more money from your business is to productize some of your services.

So, if a client who wants to have a website approaches me, he has two options. It's either I design the site for him or I give him a video tutorial that teaches him how to do it. Either way, I'm making money.

In the case where he doesn't have money at all, well, I send him to a free guide that teaches him the basics. Who knows, he might still come back to me in the future for consultation or something else.

The good thing is you can create products from almost every services you render.

What of a lawyer who wrote a book on how to register a business with CAC effortlessly?
What about the graphic designer who created a video tutorial on how to design?
Remember GTB *737#? It's a product.

Now start thinking of how to productize your services.
Mention any service you render and I'll tell you how to productize it.

I thought of the second movie to write about and I picked this one. It is one amazing movie I love to watch repeatedly. After the first time I watched it on my mobile, it was deleted. I know a guy that sells roasted chicken at one of the female hostels in Unilag. The cheapest Roasted Chicken he sells is 1k and to be very modest, he sells at least 5 per day. We all know that he does more because the cars that come to the hostel are way more than 5 per day and those girls never let most "droppers" leave without dragging them close to his table for a slice. This said exam is aimed at segregating the class into:- Sciences, Commercials and Arts; as the students transit to Senior Secondary School level. Those that score well above average are moved to sciences. The school management naturally assumes this category to be the most intelligent of the bunch and they surreptitiously bestow upon them the responsibility to become the future Medical doctors and Engineers. Those whose scores were average are moved to commercials because they are terms as those whose brains lack the capacity to comprehend Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The movie turned out to be a comedy. Stanley rarely liked comedies. He was more into thrillers, action, and sci-fi. He had to fake his laughter at every interval. He did this in order not to look odd among the audience who were obviously cracked up by what Stanley felt was "mediocre and silly". When nobody was looking, he made sure his gaze was on his beautiful date, Franca. Franca, he thought. The truth was that he didn't expect her to agree to the movie date. You may be consuming high amounts of sugar and it's unhealthy for you

A lot of us must have heard that much sugar is not healthy, but a good number of persons still consume a large amount of it. Sugar is a carbohydrate and we have simple sugars (glucose, fructose, galactose) and more complex forms of it (sucrose, lactose, maltose). The sugar we consume is mostly in the form of sucrose, a disaccharide made up of glucose and fructose. When we consume sugar, it is metabolized to give us energy, but when high amounts of it is consumed, the body converts to body fats and store them. Sugar (sucrose) contains about 50% fructose, and fructose, which is actually the sweet part of sugar, responsible for the sweetness we taste when we take sugar is not good for us. Fructose is metabolized only by the liver which means there's a lot of work for one's liver to do. It is toxic to the liver especially in those who consume large amount of sugar (the human body is not meant to consume so much fructose). Also, sugar is ADDICTIVE due to fructose. Ikejiofor Izuchukwu Fear is a very essential component of living. It's a tool that's guides our lives and helps prevent tears. It's pretty normal to have fear; the fear of tomorrow. For a student; the fear of what happens when you graduate, the fear of failure, the fear of success, the fear of all. The impact of the fear could build a soul or kill it. The problem is not the fear. Everyone has the fear (the prettiest, the wealthiest, the most intelligent and the most spiritual). The problem is how you channel the fear. Do you let the fear of failure stop you from starting, or push you for better? It's quite not feasible to see people who "fear not." Those who make it are those who use the fear as a propelling force for better yield. Are you afraid you will fail? We all are. Let that push you not to fail. And if you fail at something, after you do so, let the fear push you not to fail again! Fear is a good thing. Use it properly.
