Positive Life & Relationship is just over 7 months old, but its influence on lives has been positive and its future influence on lives will be Great!

I just want to appreciate those whose contribution(s) has been part of this library. A good number of them may not be aware that they are a part of this library, but today, Positive Life & Relationship appreciates you all.

God bless you all for your positivity, for deciding to be a positive force of influence in our society. May your dreams and aspirations be granted, and may you all keep growing and getting better, higher and greater! Amen.

Some do for the attention they can get; perhaps, their supposed pair is someone with class or high social background. Some do too for recognition. Some do for some bucks. While a whole lot of others who are not in these other categories are probably because they are bored and tired of being alone. To be vulnerable is to be exposed to the possibility of being attacked or harmed either physically or emotionally. One way or another, we all have felt that way and while we are in that state, we are in desperate need of a saviour. But do we really know who to run to, where to go and how to ask for help? Different thoughts comes to mind. We humans, to an extent do not want to be perceived as weak. But if You don't show that weakness, how will you get in contact with the person that has answers to what you need?. If you don't ask the right questions how will you get the right answers? Showing weakness does not mean you are weak or silly literally. It simply means that you have got strength to rise above mediocrity. I normally take a walk in the evenings. The practice of solitude on the street... the idea of being quiet on a road full of noisy commuters seems heavenly to me. It makes me feel different and that's exactly the kind of environment I can unwind. This evening, it was church-time for some folks. Because I wasn't walking alone, I had to be chatty with my colleague. We spoke from petty politics to travelling abroad and just as we got in front of this church, I asked him why people went to church. He retorted: "Fear!" Immediately, I checked the faces of those who were praying at the end of a screaming minister's voice and it was shocking to find their faces full of the very thing my friend said--fear. Hi Reader! Hope you're doing good? I was checking up on happiness and how it relates to the body and brain, chemically. I found some interesting stuffs that I'll love to share. There are four chemical substances that are related to happiness in the body: Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin and Endorphins (DOSE). There could be more than four but these four are major. My interest today is on Dopamine. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter which influences "reward-motivated behavior " in relation to happiness. By reward-motivated behavior, it is responsible for the excitement one feels when there's a task to be done with a reward attached. This reward can be a goal to be attained or landmark to be set. A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. Before that, I'll share some points about earthworms: - They are in the lumbricus genus, there are various species of earthworms, but the common earthworm's scientific name is lumbricus terrestris - Their digestive system runs through the length of their skin - Earthworms respire through their skin - They are hermaphrodites (each one carries both male and female sex organs) - They lack either an internal skeleton or exoskeleton , but maintain their structure with fluid-filled coelom chambers that function as a hydrostatic skeleton.
