Never, never give up!

When things go wrong as they sometimes will; when the road you are trudging seems like an uphill task; when the funds are low and the debts are high, and You want to smile, but have to sigh; when cares are pressing you down a bit, rest if you must, but never give up!

Success is failure turned inside out. The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, and You never can tell how close you are. It may be near when it seems far!
So stick to the fight when you are hardest hit! Problems are only opportunities in work clothes! Impossibilities vanish when a man, his God confront a mountain! The best way out of a difficult is through it. Until you go through, you can't break through! So hold on!

Defeat never comes to any man until he admits it! Never forget that great men who have lighted the world to higher levels were not developed in easy circumstances, but were rocked in the cradle of difficulties and pillowed in hardship.

So as the year ends with certain unfulfilled desires, hold on firmly to your God because with God all things are possible. A miracle will still happen! Never, never give up! Hold on and hold out! Yes! A miracle will still happen.

Passing by a church over the weekend, my thoughts revolved about a noticeable trend that have stayed in Nigeria, I believe for about a decade or so. You must have observed same. Churches in recent years now use Religious broadcasting (which is broadcasting by religious organizations, usually with a religious message) to conduct LIVE services. So, a head quarter church in any part of the country can easily broadcast to any of their satellite churches, and you see people in this satellite churches agreeing and seeing visible results. If you received Salvation because of fear for hell, then that's not Real Salvation. Salvation is not based on fear, but on faith that comes from love for Christ's finished work on the cross. Step up, start loving Jesus Christ to experience the true essence of salvation. Love for Jesus exposes and reveals the real purpose of salvation. Many people expect life to be easy. Even as a Christian, there is no crown without a cross. Many people wish they can just wish suffering away, deny it exists or drink it away. Suffering is how the spirit of man grows, how it learns to discipline itself from the incessant demands of the wayward flesh. Suffering people are growing people. But does that mean we should desire suffering? No, we should not desire suffering but neither should we resist it. Because what we resist persists. We should not try to hide from suffering. Like a bully, we stand up to it, pull it in the beard and find out that it was just an attachment meant to scare us. We're all guilty of it. Most times, the degree in which we manifest it only varies. An unsubmissive wife feels she's better than her unloving husband. God understands. An unloving husband feels he's better than his unsubmissive wife. God understands. The pulpit minister feels he's more into God and the ministry than the marketplace minister. The marketplace minister considers himself more honourable than the pulpit minister. She that wears trousers or uses jewelries feels she's a more enlightened Christian.
