Why Our Relationships Suffers

Our Friendships/Relationships/Partnership and every other ship often suffers because WE:

1. Call people friend, yet talk badly about them to others we also call friend.

2. Fixate on the weaknesses of those who love us the most.

3. Claim to forgive instantly, yet hold grudges for decades.

4. Can't discern when criticism is inappropriate, and encouragement is really needed.

5. Rarely ask "How are you doing?" and truly care about the answer.

6. Take good people for granted, and become wounded when they call out our abuse.

7. We are blind to our bad habits, but can see every one else's within five minutes of meeting them.

Great friendships, relationships and every other ships don't just happen, people make them happen. We have to strive daily to truly treat others how we'd want them to treat us too.
