The face you give when you launch a new product and instead of people to buy they say "Congratulations, I am proud of you". Am I the only that has experienced this? When I first launched my first book, At the River Bank, I had a lot of people that told me Congratulations, the moral support was something else but that Moral support demoralized me and I gave into depression. Do you know why? Only one person purchased my book on the day I launched it. The person that even purchased the book was my friend, Promise Excel. This effect refers to the tendency to overestimate the extent to which others share our opinions, attributes, emotions, feelings and behaviors. I suggested someone to him who was undoubtedly super skilled in what he does. His response was, "He's good BUT I can't deal with his attitude". Then I immediately recommended someone else who does not only have great skill but a great attitude too. You see, in life, great skills will take you to the top but only an excellent attitude that'll keep you there. While you're busy acquiring vocational and digital skill, take a moment to grab (as it were) interpersonal skills. Learn how to relate with people like human. Don't insist on being right.
