You can make Grace work for You

When I see something working anywhere, I just know it is Grace at work.

When I see someone doing effortlessly what I still struggle with, I just know it is by Grace.

When where they are is a place I still aspire to be, I need no soothsayer to tell me they are Graced.

So, I keep a tab on them – I watch how they do their things, I watch how they order their lives, I watch how they spend their time, I observe what they spend their money on, I watch their association, I observe what they say, then, I begin to practice these things.

Something tells me that if I do the things that they do, and practice the things I have observed in them, the Grace that works for them at that level and measure I desire, will work for me, too.

I want to 'tap' into that Grace...

Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. Many people are in relationships, pairing with someone for different reasons, quite obviously and commonly is that "some" people do for their own sexual gratification. Some do for the attention they can get; perhaps, their supposed pair is someone with class or high social background. Some do too for recognition. Some do for some bucks. While a whole lot of others who are not in these other categories are probably because they are bored and tired of being alone. Relationship(s) is not all about a game of give and take, it is so much than that. Wanting money, Serving Mammon

Someone asks, "What does it mean to not serve God and mammon? I'm confused. Does it mean I should not want to have money? And I should not think about it or how to get it? Or that I should live in penury? Is that what it means to not serve mammon?" My reply: "Wanting money is not same as serving Mammon. Wanting money and desiring it is very godly and indeed, noble. Money is simply a tool; same way screw driver, hammer, spoon or spanner is. However, when your desire for money comes above your desire for God's leading and direction, you have erred. When, instead of being led by God and the interests of His Kingdom, you're being led by thoughts of personal gain, you have bowed to Mammon. A fruit is known by its seed. A tree is known by its fruit. Trees are matured, grown seeds. Seeds are those little fragments that make our lives the whole. Seeds are what we allow to be part of the whole. Every little stem, leaf, branch, stump and fruit are results of those little seeds. Poor seeds bear bad fruits. Healthy seeds bear good fruits. The fruits are the product of those little seeds. What kind of fruit do your little seeds produce? Lies, Hate, Envy, Shallowness, Bitterness, Naivety, Pride, Laziness and Promiscuity.. Or – Truth, Love, Knowledge, Grace, Faith, Humility, Hardwork and Self-control. You are responsible for the fruit You yield because you allowed the seeds to grow. This part focuses on diet and eye health. Good eye health requires the consumption of nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids, lutein, zeaxanthin, zinc, beta-carotene, vitamins A, C and E, etcetera. The idea that an anointing from God can be IMPARTED from one person to another is NOT in the Bible. But if I can convince you that I have an anointing that you need, well, that pretty much makes you dependent upon me, doesn’t it?
