You can make Grace work for You

When I see something working anywhere, I just know it is Grace at work.

When I see someone doing effortlessly what I still struggle with, I just know it is by Grace.

When where they are is a place I still aspire to be, I need no soothsayer to tell me they are Graced.

So, I keep a tab on them – I watch how they do their things, I watch how they order their lives, I watch how they spend their time, I observe what they spend their money on, I watch their association, I observe what they say, then, I begin to practice these things.

Something tells me that if I do the things that they do, and practice the things I have observed in them, the Grace that works for them at that level and measure I desire, will work for me, too.

I want to 'tap' into that Grace...

Hi Reader! Hope you're doing good? I was checking up on happiness and how it relates to the body and brain, chemically. I found some interesting stuffs that I'll love to share. There are four chemical substances that are related to happiness in the body: Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin and Endorphins (DOSE). There could be more than four but these four are major. My interest today is on Dopamine. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter which influences "reward-motivated behavior " in relation to happiness. By reward-motivated behavior, it is responsible for the excitement one feels when there's a task to be done with a reward attached. This reward can be a goal to be attained or landmark to be set. It's just like something good is coming out from carrying out a task or action, or something new and exciting will be learnt or gained after undergoing an experience or completing a task. Nothing to Offer?

I hear people saying, and postulating that our Ladies have nothing to offer in relationships, and that apart from sex, eighty percent or thereabout of ladies have nothing else to contribute to relationships. How they arrived at such statistics, I know not. Who did the research, the number of ladies they sampled, and the research method employed, till date - the mystery remains unexplained. To me, this may be an issue of generalization and a case of a few bad eggs. Then again, I may be wrong oh, and it may be a case of a few good eggs and that of ''to every rumor there is an element of truth''. But nonetheless, let me attempt to point out a few things I think the authors of this "women have nothing to offer in a relationship" mantra are aggrieved about. A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. It is another interesting movie to talk about. It's a dance movie starring Ryan Guzman (Sean Asa), Misha Gabriel (Eddy, co-leader of the Mob with Sean), Kathryn McCormick (Emily Anderson), Peter Gallagher (William Bill Anderson), among others. I think you guys will love the movie. As usual, I'll share the lessons I learnt from the movie. • It's really cool seeing the team Sean and Eddy put together. They brought different talented dancers together so they could express their voices as a team and make a bigger difference collectively. It's also great having a team of people who share same goals and who are committed. They didn't just gave themselves a voice, they also gave a lot of persons a voice and at the end, their voices were heard. In my routine muse, out of the loud silence of my mind came deep words which I consider both factual and true... Nothing happens on it's own, we live in a realm of cause and effect; sowing and reaping; give and take; garbage in, garbage out... Life can, to a good extent be predictable; nothing is new, just some kind of cycle... Principles guide life, break them and dance to whichever tune life plays for you. Grace, yes Grace, does not groom lazy men who sit with bowls waiting for manna rain. Grace empowers you to labour, opens new thought lines in your head, makes you smart, diligent and the boss in your game. Late night eating is unhealthy for you

Late night eating is a common habit that have become integrated into the lives of many people. Lot of persons work till late at night, and have to take late dinner. Even persons who are aware of its unhealthiness sometimes find it difficult to stop. However, everyone wants a healthy life and have to promote healthy eating to achieve that. Having late dinners, or snacking late at night may not really affect a night worker whose day is night and vice versa, but it's unhealthy for one who sleeps at night. At night, one doesn't expend much energy, and the body's metabolism is slower and thus, having late dinners, especially eating heavy food and overeating can result in weight gain, and increased blood sugar levels which can be a predisposition to chronic diseases, including heart attack and stroke.
