It is time to dump Virgin Ideas if You are to monetize your passion
Someone sent me a private message sometime ago and he narrated how he has been finding it difficult to monetize his ideas.
He told me how it took him three years to finally come up with the idea. Striving for three years to conceive an idea was tough for him and now, he couldn't earn a dime from his idea.
I was surprised and I had to ask him why it took him three years to come up with the idea.
''People are implementing every ideas that I had before that idea. And that idea was the only one I got that no one is doing it yet''.
You see the mistake?
People still believe that their ideas must be raw, untouched and Virgin for it to scale. People believe having Virgin ideas is what makes them unique.
The truth is, discovering an idea to be Virgin is an indication that it's not marketable, neither can it be profitable. If no one is doing it, it may not be suited for our world.
Dump that idea ASAP the moment you realize there's no market for it.
The world has been in existence for countless years, there's no profitable Virgin ideas anymore.
Instead of wasting your time and resources trying to create a wheel, make the existing ones better!

Before you commit funds and resources on your ideas, research your market. Having a market for it is a sign that people are hungry for it.

To avoid stories that touch, ensure there's a hungry market that needs the solution your idea brings.
