Your Baby will respond to You

Dear friends,
I came to the understanding of a matter I've been thinking about, for a while, this morning (on the day this was written) at the ironing board. Permit me to share it with you.

Seven days after a child has been delivered, a ceremony or feast is thrown to celebrate the child's birth and the christen/naming of the child is done. In that ceremony, the child's names is called out to everyone and from that day onward the child's name changes from BABY to OLUSOLA (for example). Everyone, from that day is expected to call the child by that name. But I noticed something, even though the child's name is for example, OLUSOLA, he will not respond or turn in the direction of the name for how long... guess...

My Research this morning revealed that for at least seven good months, the child will not respond to his name. He will hear the name but not respond if you call him/her. I was alarmed knowing that this morning. In my mind I thought maybe from a month old, a child will respond to his name. Nay! I was proven wrong. It will take at least seven months and in some cases, nine months. The child will give a stare like he was not the one you are calling.

But the mother, the father and everyone won't give up. They will keep calling the child's name and somehow, someday, as the child grows and gather information he will become familiar with the name and eventually respond to it. The child will grow to be able to say the name, spell the name, write the name and defend it. Wow! But for the at least the first seven months of the child's life, he won't respond.

So what's the lesson for you there?

Well, I'm writing this to someone today who has been confessing - Healing, Breakthrough, Marriage, Success, Job, Purpose, Deliverance, Empowerment.
You've been told to keep saying it because you will have what you say (Mark 11:24). You've been told to say it to have it. But it seems time is going. It seems time is no longer on your side. It seems you have reached the dead end. The situation keeps giving you a cold stare. The same way a baby will not respond despite calling his name.

Did you remember my discovery about the baby response to his name and the time it will take him? That's the same thing going on. The situation you are confessing, the things you are speaking to see, the healing you want to see happen... In the realm of the Spirit, they can hear you!
But You will need persistence, as that of a child's parent to keep calling, doing, praying till it comes to fruition.

I encourage you this day, to keep calling it forth and soon enough - Your miracle, Your marriage, the promises of God, the things you've been waiting for, the deep desires of your heart - shall RESPOND TO YOU, SHALL BE A REALITY!!

Believe in your Heart
Pray and keep working fervently and diligently
Keep Saying it
It shall come to pass for you!
It shall respond to you!
They are your Baby... They shall respond to you soon!

Yesterday (on the day this was written), I watched Pastor Chris Oyakilome live as he preached. He used his iPad to read out scriptures. Later in the day, I saw a post on Instagram, and one guy like that insulted Pastor Chris for using iPad, instead of his Bible. I laughed at the man's ignorance. I remember an Uncle of mine was invited to a Church. He went there with his iPad, and someone asked him: "Sir, where is your Bible?” He showed him his 10.1 inches Pad. “But Sir,” he said, “This is not a Bible, this is iPad, you need to carry your Bible. Another cool movie to talk about. It's based on the novel by Robin Palmer. Geek Charming stars Sarah Hyland (Dylan Schoenfield), Matt Prokop (Josh Rosen), Sasha Pieterse (Amy Loubalu), among others. Josh's movie on a human subject (Dylan) was a big challenge to execute. Most of the other persons involved in the Puget sound film festival, picked a non human subject. As an aspiring film maker, one of a very young age, a documentary on a human subject was something so big and rare, and very challenging. Josh picked up the challenge, one which didn't just help him win the festival, but also helped him discover the real personality of Dylan; how her mum meant so much to her and how the loss of her mum when she was eight years old had affected her and shaped her social life. I read this book about four years ago, and it was a big turning point for me. Much was learnt, I'll share few of them today. You should check it out. The lessons: Death begins when one stops learning, and ageing starts from one's mind, not one's body. One remains young as far as he or she keeps learning; One starts crashing once he or she stops pushing. One's ability to excel mentally is paralyzed once one stops trying and accepts that the results obtained is the best he or she can attain; One's life becomes a burden when one's life is void of progress.
