Earning on Social media

Last night (referring to night before the day this was written), I stirred up your thoughts about being a social media star and being broke. It will be remiss of me to just stop there without pointing to the “How". There may be folks out there who needs our guidance and knowledge to stir them aright. Let's get right into it.

If you have at least one person following you, what are the ways you can earn by showing up on social media?

• SELL YOUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICE
I am sure that sounds cliché. However, it is imperative you look critically at the some products you have access to, maybe things you created, services you can offer and use your timeline (platform) to project same.
You may begin with a low priced offer or free, just to get people to use your products or get feedback on your service. If you don't have a product or service, or you have not decided to push yours, not to worry as you have a way out.

• INFLUENCER MARKETING
Imagine you get to talk about a product or service and in so doing get paid for showing it to your followers. Wouldn't that be great?
Kim Kardashian reportedly gets paid a whopping $250,000 to make a post on her Instagram page for brands. Yes, count the zeros. Convert to naira and see for yourself.
You may not have that level of influence at the moment, but you can start with that one, ten or hundred followers you've got.

• AFFILIATE MARKETING
Lastly, you can sell someone's product or service or training for a commission. So there are various ways to earn from showing up on social media.

What do you think about them? Have you tried any of them before? What more can you add to what I shared?
