I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. Passing by a church over the weekend, my thoughts revolved about a noticeable trend that have stayed in Nigeria, I believe for about a decade or so. You must have observed same. Churches in recent years now use Religious broadcasting (which is broadcasting by religious organizations, usually with a religious message) to conduct LIVE services. So, a head quarter church in any part of the country can easily broadcast to any of their satellite churches, and you see people in this satellite churches agreeing and seeing visible results. Suffering is how the spirit of man grows, how it learns to discipline itself from the incessant demands of the wayward flesh. Suffering people are growing people. But does that mean we should desire suffering? No, we should not desire suffering but neither should we resist it. Because what we resist persists. We should not try to hide from suffering. Yesterday night (the night before the day this was written), I was having a nap, at the NIFES UNIPORT President's office, when Brother Daniel came to me and said: “Sir, we have a new person, he is stranded. And he needs a place to lodge for the night”. I was tired. I told him; “See to it that he finds rest”. Then he replied me: “he is a Muslim”. I said to him again; “that is not a problem. Just ask him basic information and tell him the etiquette of the secretariat. Also do a security check”. This is the normal pocedure for any one who comes around, because many have come in such way and at midnight they stole something. Then, I zoomed, off to sleep. This morning (on the day this was written), at 4.25 AM, when we do have our normal devotion, we had a full house.
