Not Everyone will be pleased with You

Not everybody will be pleased with You.
No matter how nice you are to everyone, there'd always be people who'd find a fault in you. I've been there and I've come to understand that, if you allow those things people do get to you, you'd end up hurting yourself.
Depression is one thing that'd always stroll in with it's cold grip.

My advice: Keep doing good. Be nice to everyone. Always radiate and glow like the Sun. Let your beauty and aura spread to all that come in contact with You. You do not need everyone, all you need is God and a few people who care about You. Soon even those who saw you as 'unqualified' will sing your praise. They will announce You more.

The session was on Olajumoke Adenowo. ---------- (Diligent Amaka speaking) Olajumoke Olufunmilola Adenowo (born in 1968) is an award-winning Nigerian architect, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, as well as a speaker, radio host, and author. She is the founder of the boutique architecture and interior design firm AD Consultin, based in Lagos, Nigeria. CNN described her as "Africa's Starchitect" and The Guardian (Nigeria) has described her as "the face of Architecture in Nigeria. Adenowo has several philanthropic ventures. In 1999, she founded the Awesome Treasures Foundation (ATF), a faith-based NGO in Lagos, Nigeria. Success Story: How I went from a CGPA of 2.29 to 4.00 within a Semester

This is a Success Story shared by Olusola O'sola Fapohunda, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Akure. ----- In early 2010, I went with about four other guys in my department - to visit our level registration officer. We wanted to check our result. Each one of us, was with a paper and a pen. The lecturer in charge asked for our matriculation numbers and one after the other, he was reeling off grades, GPA and CGPA. He eventually got to me and I heard a digit that sounded like I've been shot. God! Me! 2.29. I've earned myself Grade E in some three unit courses and my best course was APH301, which I had a B with a score of 69. About six months later, I went to check my 300 level second semester result and I now had a CGPA of 4.00. That was the happiest day of my University education. I was rolling on the floor of the room. A lot of us have become used to using salt to kill earthworms when we encounter any in our houses. I've thought about this for a while now, but I recently decided to check it up and I'll share what I learnt about the science. Before that, I'll share some points about earthworms: - They are in the lumbricus genus, there are various species of earthworms, but the common earthworm's scientific name is lumbricus terrestris - Their digestive system runs through the length of their skin - Earthworms respire through their skin - They are hermaphrodites (each one carries both male and female sex organs) - They lack either an internal skeleton or exoskeleton , but maintain their structure with fluid-filled coelom chambers that function as a hydrostatic skeleton. As Christians, we are not in any battle with the devil. There is no battle again. Christ defeated the devil and made a public example of him. Why still fight an already won battle? The only thing we do is confirming and enforcing the defeat. In the military it is called a mop up operation. We are only soldiers assigned to our immediate environments to ensure criminals don't infiltrate the already conquered territory. We have the upper hand and full control. Behind every great idea, there will always be somebody who will be discouraging you by telling you that it won't work. They will tell you it won't be successful. They can even go to the extent of giving examples of people who have tried and failed. People will make attempt to make sure they discourage you from embarking on the journey to success but I want to tell you that nothing will be achieved by you if you are waiting for the time everybody will agree to support your dream.
